 (A Howl-o-ween Story!)

It's ok now.
You are all safe!

I was sitting in the tall guy's
bedroom (and I wasn't even on the bed)
and look what appeared out of nowhere:

That's right.  It's Cthulhu!

I tried to be nice to him,
but he said he came to take away
all the candy and cookies that
all us Earth creatures were planning
on giving away for Howl-o-ween!

Nobody takes away my cookies!!
 What's that?
Nobody takes away all the candy for the kids!!

Seizing the opportunity,
(and his throat),
I jumped right at him.

I tossed him this way..

and that way.

He put up a stuggle,
but in the end,
Jackthulhu prevailed.

So I decided the best thing to do was to
but only the part that made him not nice.

Although, come to think of it,
I am feeling a little strange now...

Happy Howl-o-ween!!

I LOVE getting presents.
I'm so excited!

I can't wait to see what I got this time!!

What is this?

I don't even LIKE mayonnaises!!

It was not my mayonnaises.
Evidently, the tall guy only likes
ONE KIND of mayonnaises
and since he can't get it where we live,
he has to order it special from the company.
Some people are just spoiled!
Now if only he could find
Sunbeam bread!
He could make him a mayonnaise sandwich.
(He said he ate those growing up!)

October 23, 2012

Look at this:

The tall guy went to the Costco and bought like
200 pounds of candy for Halloweens.

Do I like Snickers?  No.
Do I like Milky Ways?  No.
Do I like Butterfingers?  No.
I don't even HAVE fingers!

Do I like Laffy Taffys?
Do I like SweetTarts?
Do I like Skittles?
I don't even know what Skittles is!

Do I see any cookies in there?
Do I see any Three Dog Bakery?
Do I see any treats that I would want?

So tell all your peoples to come by
our house and get all of this stuff they want.
Cause it's not doing me any good.
And the tall guy doesn't need any of it!

Actually, if you bring me some cookies
BEFORE Halloweens,
you can have a whole bag full!
It will be our secret!

One can never have too many toys!

Especially if one has a tendency to tear out the insides of them when someone isn't watching.

The tall guy says he has spent
$47 million dollars just on toys for me.
I think I'll start asking for cash instead.
That way I can take all my friends
to the McDonald's drive thru
and buy hamburgers for everyone!

Make sure you come back after Halloween to see if you won!

FOR ME????

Yes, the doorbell rang and I ran to the door and there was a package with MY name on it.  It was from a very wonderful and kind lady named Nancy and it was a complete and total surprise (which, if you ask me, is the best kind of surprise!)

As you can see, I got a Fribsee, a pull rope and some cookies from Three Dog Bakery.  As you can ALSO see in the next to the last picture, the tall guy was trying to get me to do that WAIT thing (so that he could get a picture) before I could eat the cookie.  Well, I've only got so much patience.
It was most delicious, especially since I don't normally get a cookie in the middle of the day.  So it was even more extra special!

So thank you very very much Nancy for my big surprise.  And the tall guy said "Thank you!" too!

Lions and tigers and puppies, oh my!

Well, the tall guy finally got back from Collar-ado.  He did not even bring me a new collar, so I figure it was just a wasted trip.  But...
he did see some bears:

Yep, that is a real live bear up in a tree.  He said it was right next to the McDonald's in Aspen, Colorado.  Maybe he was just trying to get a Happy Meal before he started hibernating!

He also saw some snow:

Oh, he saw some dogs too:

These dogs were really close to the bear, but they were playing ball so they didn't pay any attention to the bear up in the tree.

He said he also saw some blue jeans for a baby that were $125.00 a pair.  Needless to say, he did not buy me any.

I guess I am glad that he is back, but I think it's about time that he took ME to see a bear and some snow and McDonald's.  I'll have a discussion with him when he decides to get out of bed.

You can win your very own copy of The Alpha-Pet book!

You can even get it "autochewed" by me, Jack!

All you have to do is guess how many
'trick-or-treaters' will come by my
house on Halloween!

Put your guess in the comments below.

The two guessers who come closest
(without going over)
will win a copy of The Alpha-Pet book.

Please leave your guess before
October 20th.

Just a hint:
We always have more than one,
but less than 100 tricks-or-treaters,
but you can guess over 100 if you like.
The tall guy gives out really good candy.
But I don't get none :(

Sunday in the park with Jack!
(Well, it's actually Wednesday
in the park with Jack,
but no one did a musical about that!)

Here is me sitting in the park,
smelling all the smells,
and watching all the peoples.

And here is me
trying to find a bean to eat.
There are LOTS of them at the park,
but the tall guy won't let me eat them all.
But I get as many as I can when
he drags, er.. walks me around the park.

And to top it all off,
he's leaving me again.
He's going to somewhere called
Maybe he's going to get me a new collar.
Then again,
maybe he's just going on a
Who knows with him?

But, I do have a very nice lady
to come and make sure I get
to go on walks and get
something to eat so I won't starve
for the 2 days that he is gone.
She came by to meet me yesterday,
and I kept telling her how
excited I was that she was coming by
to watch me.
The tall guy got a bit perturbed
because I KEPT telling her how excited
I was.  But finally I got tired of being
excited, so I finally just decided
to sprawl out on the floor so I could keep
an eye out on them.
I'll let you know how it goes.

What's on YOUR mantle?

For some reason, the tall guy has a bunch of
'me's on our mantle.

I have NO idea what that green thing is.

He's got a lot of pictures of me in the
bedrooms and in all the rooms of the house.

I don't know why, since he can just
look at me every day!

How many pictures of you
do your peoples have around your house?

On another note,
the printing company that did the
Alpha-Pet book sent 2 extra copies
to the tall guy.

He said he would like to give them away
if someone can come up with a good

So put your ideas in the comments below!

He keeps bringing them home

and I keep tearing off the tags!

As everyone may know, I have a feline friend named Madi.
Well, in honor of Madi, I found this page with
lots of pictures of cats.

My FAVORITE one is #22 - where they built a cat bathroom INSIDE the human bathroom!

I asked the tall guy if he would build one of those for me, but he said something about the whole world being my toilet!

He worries me sometimes!

And don't forget the books:
