Boy, is this chewing gum SOUR!

It's not really chewing gum - I was eating a mesquite bean. I find they have a delightfully sweet, yet nutty flavor. The tall guy says that 'I' am the one who's nutty! There are all sorts of recipes that use mesquite beans - even cookies! Now if only the tall guy would learn how to cook (like the Bumpass Hounds mom!)

    Hot as blue blazes here in NC we did have a very nice rain event last night. 1" yay!!! The ground will be dry as a bone by afternoon. We're expecting 96 today,
