No I am not drunk!

I was just in the middle of falling asleep.

The tall guy said he is sorry he hasn't been online
much lately to write on all your blogs.
We did not have NO HEAT for 4 days and
we did not have NO WATER for 2 days.

It got very very cold, but the gas company
came and fixed the heat over the weekend.
There were about 14000 houses without gas
and the gas company had to go to each one
of them to turn the gas back on to make
sure no one got blowed up!

So we were cold and stinky and had to
go to the grocery store to go to the bathroom.
Well, the tall guy did.
I just did my normal thing.

  4. It's been really cold here too and we couldn't get any water out of the taps because it turned to ice. Dad works at a hotel, so he and Mum went there to get all cleaned up.

  9. GOOD GRIEF!!!! Jack that was a real live horror movie. I am so sorry to read this. Mom said she knows what you went through. Well minus the cold part. When Hurricane Fran (September 1996) came through Raleigh Mom told me they were w/o power, water and air conditioning for 4 days. Absolutely not conditions in which, I the Diva, could have existed. Mom says to tell TG thanks for the link and LOL!!! Thank goodness all is well and TG is no longer stinky!

  15. I was wondering about you guys when I saw the problems you were having on the news. We went through that three years ago for two weeks. Bought a generator the next winter and haven't had to use it since.

  24. Ye gads! Not what one expects when moving to the Eden of the Southwest! We infer you also lost electricity, as that's always the first to go. Well, it's all fodder for your book when the TG is emending and revising the galley proofs.
