Going to the hiking!
The tall guy decided that we needed to head back to the mountains and go to the hiking. We went back to the same place that we went to the camping, but instead of staying inside, we just walked around all over the outside. Here I am riding in the car on the way to the hiking:
It was really nice and cool and with actual real trees. I decided to get a big sniff so I could remember all the good smell when we got back home. It obviously made me very happy (or I am about to sneeze).
Here we are walking up one of the trails. The tall guy said to ignore the fact that my string is very very taut as that does not mean that I was pulling him up the trails because he is slow as molasses!
I even got to say hello to another dog. He was very nice, but the tall guy did not take his picture. So, you will just have to imagine that I have just walked by a very nice dog in that last picture!
So, if you come to visit me, I will have the tall guy
take us to the hiking. I think you will really enjoy it.
BTW (which stands for 'Bark This Way' in case you didn't know), the place we went to is called Madera Canyon. It has some really big mountains. You can even walk all the way up to the top of them. The tall guy says it's about 5 miles and 10000 feets. I guess that's how many feets you need to get to the top!
I could tell from your first sentence that this was going to be my sort of a post.

ReplyDeleteJack what an exciting day you had...car ride, smell mail on the tree trunks and in the dirt and most importantly you met an imaginary friend on the trail.

Hiking's pawsome Jack, I really think you got it down!
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty strong pulling on that string. If I went hiking with you could you pull me in a stroller as I am not much when it comes to stamina, but I do so enjoy the outdoors.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
mango
You have the cutest little freckle on your nose. Tootie told me to say that.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jack.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, your comment on our blog today made Mom LOL. I would like to personally thank you and TG for this act of kindness. She said the only thing I can catch is a few 'winks' and sometimes the scent of Fancy Feast as she opens the can.
Hugs from your BFFF,
Madi
Hiking is so furry cool! We're gonna go on a fall color tour of northern Michigan this weekend! Momma said she'll bring a picnic lunch fur alla' us, woo-hoo.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Mom likes to take me hiking at Mt. Woodson here in San Diego -- much drier than your climate there but I still smile nice and big just like you!
ReplyDeleteLove,
The other Jack
