Jack's 60 Second Mystery!
I noticed it when we were out walking yesterday. The tall guy didn't seem to notice it. Maybe it was because we were like 3 miles away from it. But I did. The tall guy was just trying to get home. Something about needing a drink of water. But I persisted. I started to walk one direction, the tall guy wanted to go the other. Usually, he wins. But then I gave him my puppy eyes. He can't resist when I do the puppy eye thing. So, he said we would go see what I was so determined to find. We quickly crossed the street and went up the sidewalk. The closer we got, the faster I walked. Time seemed to stand still as we rushed toward our goal. All of a sudden, there it was!
That's right. A big old meaty chicken bone.
Can you believe that someone threw this out? Just look at it. There's enough meat on there to feed Sassy, Zack, and Buddy AND me. Why, you could probably feed 200 Miss Mindy's and have enough left over to make Sunday dinner for Remington!
And did I get to eat it? Eat it? I didn't even get within 3 feet of it before I was DRAGGED away by my string. After all the work I put in!!
So, there's my mystery. Who left this nice chicken bone sitting on the side of the road? Were they waiting to see if it would get to the other side?
I guess we'll never know!
PS. It is still there today. And the tall guy STILL won't let me eat it!
PPS. Just in case you haven't seen this a thousand times yet:
PPPS. And just to tide you over the weekend, something that has nothing whatsoever to do with dogs, although I'm pretty sure there's some chicken bones somewhere in this video (you may want to sit down for this one):
Thats a bummer that you couldnt have that BIG ole bone. Did you make him give you one when you got home??

I don't get it either, if it was on the ground it was fair game. I am sorry Jack, sometimes the 2 leggers are so mean.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs Sasha
p.s. Mom says that lady above should be called the crazy hoarding queen, not the coupon queen. What a nut.
Jack, we've eaten one of those bones before and we got VERY sick. TG is right. Sorry, bud.

MOL Jack...bad news...your superior eyesight is an indication that there is some feline DNAs lurking in your handsome K9 body...chew on that for a while.
ReplyDeleteOK the worse mom video
1. who in the world has that much tp and pt stored in their home
2. who in the world would train their child to be such an egomaniac
3. Mom had a friend whose grand-daughter competed years ago...it was cute at 5 but not so cute by the time she was 16 with the same attitude.
Hugs Madi and Mom
Sorry you didn't get the chicken bone -- wowzers there was a lot left on there. I doubt I would have gotten to eat it either....besides I kinda like mine served on a nice plate with all the trimmings.... Great videos -- thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDANG! I woulda loved a few chews on that bone too! But.......NO CHICKEN BONES FOR US!!!! Oh well. That woman, (not lady)is a few french fries short of a Happy Meal, YUCKY to her!!
ReplyDeleteLovies, Miss Mindy
Poor Alana doesn't stand a chance... I'm afraid that gene pool is way too shallow!
ReplyDeleteChicken bone just tossed out on the sidewalk? Is that like city roadkill? TG should have at least let you roll in it! :)
xoxo
Thanks for The Bark side link. We been under a rock, i guess, and had not seen it.
ReplyDeleteAnd about that Toddlers and Tiaras "mom".........my momma hates to admit this, butt her actually watched that episode! Her tried to turn away, butt was drawn to it, like watching a auto crash.
My mum never lets me eat things when we're out, I've found the best thing to do is to grab it and run somewhere Out of reach while you eat it! Works every time !
ReplyDeleteElsie x
And what did the Tall guy have for Dinner? chicken?
ReplyDeleteNot fair!
ReplyDeleteYes. All that effort trying to reach it!
Hmmm....
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
That would feed 10 beagles. So sorry you did not get the treasure.
ReplyDeletelove & wags,
River
You should not eat chicken bones, Jack. Good call by TG. And George liked listening to the VW commercial.
ReplyDeleteOMG, that is child abuse. Why aren't those people in jail - or a psych ward? Those kids are going to need YEARS of therapy they probably won't get.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the VW preview; can't get too much of that one, at least yet.
Eventually some poor starving rodent will make off with the chicken bone. We figure the humans put them out to feed the rodents, as they won't let us touch them.
Jed & Abby
Jack, TG loves you and doesn't want you to get very sick!
ReplyDeleteThat's why you couldn't chew on the chicken bone.
I loved the VW commercial, I hadn't seen it before!
BTW, we'll be staying through the end of March now, in case you and TG can visit us at the caves. We'd love to puppy sit if TG wants to take a tour!
Woof! Woof! Oh it looks good but good thing you didn't eat .. you never know???? LOVE that barking commercial. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteJack,
ReplyDeleteI would of wanted that chicken bone too. We feel so sorry for that little girl Alana, her parents better be saving lots of money for the therapy sessions that child will need when she is a little older. What a train wreck of a family.
Your Buddy,
Max
Jack, great job of convincing TG to go where you wanted BUT we are glad he didn't let you have the chicken bone. Not so good for you and he doesn't want you to get sick. So hope you got some other special treat when you got home..We liked the 1st video but the 2nd one - sick family. We agree with some of the other comments.don't think we could take too much of that...
