I have to do everything myself!

Someone decided that he would get sick and have to stay in the bed all day yesterday, so I just had to take over the household chores and make sure that everything got done.  I couldn't even make him get out of the bed to take me on my 2 mile walk!  And I didn't even get to be vacuumed!

He said he is feeling a little better today, but we only got to go for a 1 mile walk this morning.  I can't help if it was cold and hailing, now can I?

I sure hope he gets over this sick thing really fast.

  2. Jack I understand your frustration. My Mom had the sickies last week and I had to spend most of the day just getting her whatever she needed. The good thing was I got so many hugs and belly rubs when she got better and also lots of treats cause I was such a
"good nurse". Jack, you need to work every situation to your advantage. Good luck my pal and I hope the Tall Guy feels better soon.

  8. Oh Jack we are so sorry TG has had the sickies. Everything is out of sorts when the peep is sick. You might need to call Dr. Remington for some medical advice.
    Hugs from your BFFF,

  12. Oh dear! That is the pits, Jack. I know when My Lady is sick, I have to rip up the kleenex' as fast as I can so she doesn't reuse them, it's exhausting! Feel better real quick TG!

  13. You must step up now Jack. You are in charge when the Tall Guy is sick. You must take over all duties and put your own needs to the side. I think that means you have control of his credit cards too -- ENJOY!

  14. Poor Tall Guy, I hope he feel better soon. At least you don't have to wear any silly dresses while he is resting up.

No fun being sick and feeling yucky!
    ESPECIALLY for long walks!

  20. Helping out a little while TG is sick will give you character and independance. That's what my mom always told me.

  21. I see my sister is giving you some of our mother's advice. Personally, I think helping out while TG is sick will earn brownie points for you, Jack. Brownie points=treats. Get my drift? Hope TG is feeling better! Spring is here and now you can have fun outside!
