Lions and tigers and puppies, oh my!
Well, the tall guy finally got back from Collar-ado. He did not even bring me a new collar, so I figure it was just a wasted trip. But...
he did see some bears:
Yep, that is a real live bear up in a tree. He said it was right next to the McDonald's in Aspen, Colorado. Maybe he was just trying to get a Happy Meal before he started hibernating!
He also saw some snow:
Oh, he saw some dogs too:
These dogs were really close to the bear, but they were playing ball so they didn't pay any attention to the bear up in the tree.
He said he also saw some blue jeans for a baby that were $125.00 a pair. Needless to say, he did not buy me any.
I guess I am glad that he is back, but I think it's about time that he took ME to see a bear and some snow and McDonald's. I'll have a discussion with him when he decides to get out of bed.

Seems like you really missed out, Jack. Although perhaps playing tennis ball next to a bear in a tree is an experience worth missing.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
He should take you with next time!
ReplyDeleteSam
I agree with Sam...you should go to Collar-ado next time. Until then demand a toy or at least a happy meal :)
ReplyDeleteBears Bears Bears, It seems like all teh bears are in Collar-ado. I don't think My Vickie wants to actually meet a bear in person when I am with her. But she sure would love to see one in the wild.
ReplyDeleteGreat times.......
Bert
Gorgeous. We think those bears are make believe
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Ya know for all those times you get stuck at home, I think you needs to go on a trip too. I'm just sayin...

Jack - You gave us a shock. We thought you'd developed a lump on your head in that first photo !
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday Jack.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
SNOW already! Yikes! Glad the TG is back. Hopefully he'll taking you shopping now that he is home.
ReplyDeleteI am with you buddy -- SNOW! Bring it on!
ReplyDeleteWow - a real live bear! At a McDonald's! That so makes me want to visit there again! Well, mostly cause of the snow - not so much because of McDonald's cause those are a dime a dozen.
ReplyDeleteThe TG definitely needs to take you to McDonald's - he can certainly afford a 39 cent burger - not like it's baby jeans that are $125! :)
Geez, Jack - now aren't you glad you didn't go with the tall guy? I wouldn't want to see that bear in the tree get any ideas about making you his happy meal!!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the snow and the mountains are truly beautiful. Looks like the tall guy had a very nice trip, even though in his heart he was missing you :-)
Hope you had some fun playing and going for your walks with your new friend while he was gone. Did you give her your "poor lonesome, I really miss my Dad" puppy dog face and get a few extra cookies from her?
Your friend,
Nancy
Hi Jack...when our peoples go away and return empty handed they should be severely whipped with wet sticky noodles.
ReplyDeleteOMDs TG saw snow, bears and puppies. I bet he told you puppies weren't allowed where he went?!
Hugs Madi your BFFF
PS Mom's extra 3 Alpha-Pet books arrived woohoo
