April 11, 2013

It's a mad house around here!!

The tall guy likes to put peanut butter on his vanilla wafers.  He takes 11 vanilla wafers out of the box (EXACTLY 11) and puts peanut butter on 5 of them, smooshes those 5 with peanut butter together with 5 vanilla wafers withOUT peanut butter (so he has 5 peanut butter vanilla wafer cookies) and then he eats the one that is left over.  I asked him why he did this and he said because it tastes better when you have 5.  Four is not enough and six is too many.  I then asked him why he ate the one vanilla wafer by itself.  He said it was just to show the rest of the vanilla wafers in the box who was the boss.

Uh-huh.

And then, to top it all off, I did not even get not one vanilla wafer with peanut butter on it.

Well, maybe I got PART of one, but he got 10.

11 if you count the one he ate by itself.

So, if the vanilla wafer people (Nabisconians) are reading this, please make sure that the number of vanilla wafers in the box is divisible by 11.

Or else I won't be responsible for what happens when the tall guy gets to the bottom of the box.

PS.  I think you should put a picture of a dog on your box.  I'm available if you're looking for a spokes-dog!

  3. Dear Jack,

Did you ever consider that if the number of vanilla wafers in a box is NOT divisible by 11, maybe the tall guy would give you the extra ones?? This could be a win-win situation!

I do think that sales would sky-rocket if your handsome face was on the box.....Nabisco should seriously think about your suggestion. You would become as famous as Lassie or Rin-Tin-Tin; you could change your name to "Jack the Wonder Dog." I can see the headlines now!

    Your friend,
    Nancy

PS - Vanilla wafers with peanut butter on them taste just like Girl Scout cookies :-)

  5. Jack I agree that you are perfect for the cover of the box. They would sell 87 gazillion more boxes with you on them. Mommy loves peanut butter and nilla wafers and now you have put this idea in her head as well. I will let you know how it goes.

  6. Dear Jack....WHAT is this obsession with Peanut Butter??!! And, while we're on the subject, what is 'Jelly'?? As in a 'peanut butter and jelly sandwich'?? Your explanation would be appreciated.

  7. Dude - that is so wrong - okay it is fair enough that the Tall Guy get the 10 wafers...but that 11th one that should be YOURS ! You really need to train the tall guy better!

  9. A bit OCD perhaps? This might be something we need to try.

  10. Jack, first of all - having an odd number of wafers to eat is just plain wrong.

Second of all, it's even more wrong that you don't hardly get any of that snack. You can tell the TG - "Give me a nilla snack, or earn yourself a smack!" - that might help.

  12. We thought the 11th cookie would be for you, Jack! Does that mean the Tall Guy is eating your cookie?

  13. Jack where can I buy a box with your picture on it? OMDs I'm sure it must be a limited edition.

TG was pulling your leg but he doesn't fool us we know ...that 11th 'niller wafer was to cleanse TG's palate...
