Don't look at me,
I didn't do it!

Well, we just got our new house,
and the tall guy has already broke it!

He had a guy come and tear out the shower
and look what he found:

I have no idea what it is,
but the tall guy was like
"OH MY GOODNESS!"
(or something like that)
when he saw it.

Do YOU know what it is?

I'll have the tall guy tell you what it is
below:
.
.
.
.
TG:  It's the DRYER VENT that someone
put into the shower.
It was originally hidden behind the seat
in the shower, but when I had the fiberglass
shower taken out to tile the shower, there it was.
I guess they figured no one would ever find it.

  2. Jack - Why did they have some guy come along to disassemble the house when you could have done it for free ?

  4. Maybe "the trades" were just trying to keep your shower warm?!?!? NOT!
Anyhow, we hope you don't find any other surprises like that!

  7. Gooooooood grief....that was just stupid and not very nice to do something like that and then hide it. I bet you learned some new HBO words for TG.
Mom told me they are having my g-peeps house pre-inspected on Monday...because she had to fill out a disclosure thingie and since mom has never lived there she wants to know what might be hiding behind their walls.

  8. Ah yes, the unexpected joys of remodeling.... our Dad-a-roo knows those all too well, too. But a newly tiled shower is gonna be great! (Just as long as your tall guy doesn't try to shower WOO in there!)

  13. Wow, that is not only crazy but could have been dangerous! Your house could have burned down if your vent got too clogged! You are lucky your dad found that! He deserves a loaf of Sunbeam!
