Back on the trail

Well, it warmed up yesterday, so we decided to go for a walk back up on the mountain.  I say we, when in fact, I usually have very little say in such decisions.  It's more of a "Jack, I'm going to go riding in the car.  Do you want to go?" type of thing.  Sometimes we go get something to eat, so I usually decide that riding in the car with the possibility of getting something to eat is better than staying at home with NO possibility of getting anything to eat.  Especially if the refrigerator door is closed.  Which, unfortunately, it wasn't when we went riding.  When we got back home, we notice that the door had been left open the whole time.  Usually, that would have been a problem, but since there wasn't anything in there but Pepsi and water, I don't think it made much difference.

But it was a nice outing anyway!

  1. OMD Jack!! What if you'd stayed home, and there was like a roast TURKEY in there!!! Oh well, you probably would just have gotten sick like I did when I ate the 3 dozen iced sugar cookies and had to go to the vet. I'm glad you had a nice outing!

  2. Wow - the TG really needs to go grocery shopping! I think you should go with him. A little tip: If you tear open the packages of things you like in the store, the TG will be obligated to buy them, so you have a little say in what gets purchased. Of course, the TG may never take you shopping again, but at least you will have one great memory of grocery shopping with him. :)
