I told the tall guy that he probably should change the name of my blog to
"Not so Daily Dose of Jack", because he has gotten very bad about telling you about my adventures on here. I remember when he used to write whole BOOKS
just about me. But it's ok. That just means that there is more time for us to go on walks and to play outside. Especially now that the weather is so nice.
It hasn't even been really hot yet, except for a few days, so it means that we can stay outside more often.
We have had some loud thunderstorms, but those are usually at 3AM. The tall guy LOVES getting up at 3AM and sitting with me until the storms go past. He's pretty good about doing that and he doesn't even fuss.
Oh and another good thing is that I get to eat a new kind of foods. The tall guy said that we both need to lose a few libbies. I do not know what these LBS are, but evidently you aren't supposed to have too many of them. So, the tall guy is eating more salats (BOO! - but sometimes he puts chicken on them - YAY Chicken!) and I'm eating food that is supposed to help me lose my weights. So, if you find any weights when you are out walking, they might be mine, but that's ok, you can keep them.
I think all this got started when the tall guy went to his human vet and the vet was happy that he had lost 10 lbs (the tall guy - not the vet. We don't know if the human vet lost any lbs). But as long as I still get to eat 3 times a day, I guess I'll be ok.
Other than that, we are doing goods, even though the tall guy is sad that The Amazing Race is over for a while. I am not allowed to talk during The Amazing Race. I don't know why it's called Amazing as the people don't even have any dogs with them! They should have to race around the world with their dog. Now THAT would be AMAZING! :)
Goodness, we don't have libbies here - they are called kilos, and are twice as much as your lbs, so we have to eat half as much to lose any weights. We're glad you don't have to eat those awful salats like the tall guy does - they aren't filling enough for a grown up Lab. like yourself. Three meals - oh wow - we only get two meals a day here. If we weren't so far away, we could call in and have some extra eats with you, and bring some cookies to share.
ReplyDeleteJack, we think you look quite fit in your lounging position! Enjoy your beautiful weather!

Do you get to watch Survivor too? Our pawrents let us talk during the Amazing Race cuz they said this last one wasn't as exciting.

Jack - Lose pounds ? Blame it on the camera angle.
ReplyDeleteDear Jack,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back - we missed you!
Congrats to the tall guy on losing 10 pounds! Maybe you can help him lose more by taking him outside and throwing the fribsees for HIM to catch! I realize you don't have thumbs to help you throw them, but you are a very clever dog - I know you will come up with something. :-)
Your friend,
Nancy
MOL MOL MOL Jack....my mom is the same way about TAR (The Amazing Race) in fact she tapes it and watches it just in case me or dad meow/talk while she is watching. Yay for TG losing 10 lbs...mom says she hopes and purrs they are traipsing around up here because they will surely jump on her
ReplyDeleteI hope your week goes ok... wink wink wink

Jack, you're right, maybe your blog should be called "Occasional Dose of Jack" . It's a great pity TG doesn't write about your more often - we love to hear all about you and see your photos.
