1970 here I come!

That's right.  Don't be jealous.
The tall guy got me my very own waterbed.
Cause I'm a hip, with-it, now, groovy kind of dog.

It's supposed to help me stay cool when it's hot.
He wasn't sure if I would like it,
but I like it a lot.

Which is good because he already opened the box
that it came in.

He put it on top of one of my dog beds so I could
be cool and soft at the same time.

And there's plenty of room, so if you come visit,
we can both sleep on my waterbed at the same time.
But you have to bring your own pillow.

  29. Dear TG
I came by to tell you here on Jack's blog what you and Jack meant to us. First of all I'm so sorry for the loss of your Jack.

In Jack's first book, you said you wanted to write about Jack THEN rather than Later and you were so wise!! Oh the memories you created for yourself and for everyone who love Jack and the voice you gave him. He was loved by the masses and will be missed so very much. One thing for sure, he was loved to the moon and back. Jack lived in the moment and every moment he lived was live with gusto.
Jack taught us new words like TG, which was purrfect, TVees, panny cakes. Most of all Jack taught us to love each other and to live in the here and now with no regrets. Thank you for sharing Jack with us, you were a wonderful and loving TG to Jack. Rem's mom said it best when she said...I can picture Remington and Jack romping and playing together. Every time I see the moon I think of Remington...every time I see a panny cake or hear beautiful music I think of you and Jack.
Take care of yourself and soon I hope the loss of Jack will be replaced by all the memories of things you did together.
Thank you for taking a trip over to the dark side of the pet store several years ago to buy Madi's Christmas exchange present from Jack. It was purrfect!!
Hugs now and furever Madi Jack's first and only feline friend and Cecilia

  30. Madi and Mom have said it all so eloquently. I can only add our heartfelt sorrow at learning the very sad news about Jack. We enjoyed his blog so much, and he will be missed by all his adoring fans. We know how you are feeling TG, and share your tears.
As an owner of five yellow Labs over the years I have enjoyed and laughed at your book, and blog, about Jack, and still read it on my Kindle. You gave voice to all those gorgeous Labs everywhere.
    Take care TG.
    Hugs from us too,
Coppa's girl and her two yellow Labs - Petite-Chose and Inca.

  37. Oh TG, my heart is breaking! I've watched Jack over the years and so enjoyed his crazy love of life. You, friend, had to make the choice between what is right and what is easy. Right is when we let them go to end their suffering, when easy might have been to wait. It was a brave choice, and Brody and I thank you for sharing your lovely Jack with us! He is truly missed. Deepest sympathies.

  46. So very sad to discover that Jack is no more. This is Ruby's Mum from Sedona. It's been a very long time since I've visited. After Ruby passed in 2011, I didn't have much heart for reading the dog blogs any more. Every now and again I have checked back in with you and Jack, and was always uplifted by your posts. I know your heart must be heavy, as mine was for a long time. It has only been now, 5 years on, that I've been able to fully reread Ruby's blog, but I am so grateful to have it, as I'm sure you will be with Jack's. Sending a hug from Sedona, and the new boy, Rajah.
