Well, I never!!
I wonder if you could use Madi's cat fur to knit a dog?
That would be really ironical!*
And don't forget:
You can use your tax refund
to help Khyra's mom
on her transports
by buying one of my books!
* Just to clarify. I did not write the 'Knit Your Own Dog" book.
It is like #2 on the Amazon books about dogs!
Cesar Milan is like #1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 92.

The Tall Guy is doing the knitting? That should be fun to watch. BOL!
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone want a knitted dog when one can have the real thing? People are strange. Mama once saw a book about using doggie hair [something Jed supplies in ABUNDANCE] to knit garments for humans to wear, so they can look more like their doggies. Smell like them, too. Now that makes more sense. The title of the book was something like "Make yarn from a dog you know instead of a sheep you don't."

Is that like a Cesar salad ? Just asking.
ReplyDeleteWith all the fur flying around here, there could be lots of new dogs but we think a trip to the local rescue would make a lot more sense.

Wonders if Mom could crochet a dog instead. She doesn't like to knit dat much!
ReplyDeleteMOL Jack....Ummmm I had not thought about using my own furs but you know what that is a super duper idea. You are as smart as you are handsome!!! Maybe the dogs would like essence of Madi better than I do.

Beth spins my hair (which I LOVE to watch her do....). I bet she could knit a "Mini Remington"....ha ha!
ReplyDeleteMy mom has brushed me after a bath and spun the fur, then crocheted it into a coaster . It would take a heck of a lot of fur to knit another dog!
ReplyDeleteBut cat fur into a dog, now that is pretty funny!
Raider

Knit your own dog? LMAO! We can donate 2,768 pounds of fur if someone would like to spin their own yarn first :)
ReplyDeletehehe - I like the idea of a dog made out of cat fur.
ReplyDeleteThere's another book out there called (I think) "Why wear a sweater from a sheep you'll never meet...." There's more to it, but it's about knitting stuff out of dog fur. I have the book around here somewhere...
I knitted a Scottie dog together with my mum when I was about 10. It was a funny looking thing because my tension was all over the place. Mum was kind enough not to say what a terrible job I'd made of my part, sewing it together and stuffing it anyway. Maybe I'll have another go now I'm a better knitter.
