We have a winners!!
We had a lot of excitement at our house on Howl-o-ween. We had a LOT of kids come to our house and beg for candy. The tall guy said I did a very good job of barking REALLY LOUD every time someone came to the door. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!
So, how many kids did we have come by?
99
We might have had more but the tall guy was trying to eat dinner, so he turned off the outside light so no one would know we were at home. That number doesn't count the tall guy who ate 4 pieces of candy while we were waiting for everyone to come by.
The tall guy said he should count for at least 1/2 of a person, so we decided to give away THREE Alpha-Pet books for our contest.
The winners are:
Tank (who guessed 99.5)! Wow, Tank, can you call me and give me next week's lottery numbers?
Clyde S Dale (who guessed 90)
and
Tikkii (who guessed 86).
Congratulations to everyone for guessing.
If our winners will send an email to the Tall Guy at
jacksdad2011@gmail.com,
he'll get your Alpha-Pet book in the mail.
Oh, I did not even get no candy at all. Not even any of the bad kind that the Tall Guy bought for all the older kids who didn't even bother to put on a costume.
Isn't it about time for Christmas???
sorry you didn't get any candy, Jack!..but Christmas is just around the corner..I am sure there will be plenty of gifts for you!
ReplyDeleteHoly guacamole Jack, that's a lot of kids coming by for candy! This year we only had about 20. Now we got lots of leftovers.

Lily Belle
Wow Jack, that was a LOT of mini-peoples that came to your house!! Good thing the TG had all that candy from the Costcos. We think next year that instead of the TG just giving away the candies, the mini-peoples should have to make a swap: they give you a cookie, they get the candies. Then everybody is happy.

Congrats to the very smart guessers and OH MY DOGS you will love your prize.
ReplyDeleteJack we did not have one single trick or treater.
Most munchkins here to t or t'ing at the mall.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
99? You serious? Wow! You are POPULAR! And congratulations to the winners.
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Solid Gold Dancer
You didn't get any special treats, Jack? That's terrible. Maybe you should do some tricks {like pee in his shoe}. :o)
ReplyDeleteWow! I really didn't expect to win Jack. That's a whole lotta trick or treaters. You must be hoarse this morning after all that barking.
ReplyDeleteStart counting down, my friend....only 53 more days until Christmas! I didn't even get ONE trick or treater! Not fair!
ReplyDeleteFirst you have to have Thanksgiving - which is technically FEED JACK TURKEY ALL DAY day. I know you like your turkey!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners!
That was a lot of kids! Wow! Congratulations on the winners.
ReplyDeleteSam
Good for you, barking to alert! My doggie Pounce barked too, partly because he was confused and wanted to protect us. But once I introduced him to the kids, he started barking just to say hello! Is this why you barked too?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Benny & Lily
Lazy is ordering the book now...finally
Congratulations to the winners. Wow Tank is good!
ReplyDeleteJack, Thanksgiving is next and that is my favorite cause it is just good food and no loud noises, doorbells etc. Just food!
I got my alpha pets book in the mail and I am gonna do a post soon.

Dear Jack,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had fun on Howl-o-ween, even if you didn't get no candies. Barking with gusto is always lots of fun!
By the way, I really like Molly & Bosley's idea for next year, of swapping a cookie for you in exchange for a treat for the mini-peoples.
A big CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Alpha-Pet books! This was a fun contest!
Your friend,
Nancy
Wow, 99! We had zero....:(
ReplyDeleteWe live too far out, so my mom eats all the candy!
Wyatt
Goodness, they must bus in the kids from the whole town to come to your house for candy! Mazel tov to the winners. We got zero trick or treaters -- the same number we got last year, so it wasn't due to Sandy's visit. Kids here seem to go to supervised Halloween parties instead of walking the streets like mama did when she was young. Guess it saves our voices [we'd bark, too] and doesn't interrupt mama doing important things like watching the teevees.
ReplyDeleteHey Jack, we got our Alphabet books. My Vickie is giving them to my/her neices and nephews kids for Christmas. I am excited for them to get them. We were so excited when ours arrived.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Bert
Oh yes, congrats to the winners
