It is to laugh...
The Tall Guy has been working on something called 'Christmas Cards'. He said you send out these 'Christmas Cards' to people you like to let them know you're thinking about them during Christmas.
I asked him if the people who got the 'Christmas Cards' could trade them in for cookies and he said no.
I told him it would be OK if he did not send me no 'Christmas Card' then.
He also said I was not to tell you that he did about 20 cards and kept licking the envelopes but they wouldn't shut.
It was about that time that he noticed that they were self-stick envelopes and he needed to pull of the sticky paper to make them close.
Consider yourself not told.
BOL!! Thanks for not telling us. At least you HAVE Christmas cards to send. Us, not so much...

Hugs Madi your BFFF
LOL!!! That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it would make the TG feel better to know that while I was doing Christmas cards last night - Linus peed on the carpet. TWICE. Within twenty minutes. After he had already been outside and gone. Argh. Puppies. They are lucky they are so cute.
Now THAT is funny!
ReplyDeleteTG isn't a pro at the whole card thing, is he? I love sending out cards. I love getting cards. It's all good.

Dear Jack,
ReplyDeleteThank you for making me LOL!
Before I read the part about the envelopes being self-sticking, I thought you were going to say that the Tall Guy tried to get YOU to start licking the envelopes with the hope that your licks would be sticky enough to keep them shut!
(And then he could have rewarded you with a cookie for each one that you did)!
Your friend,
Nancy
Hey Jack...at least he's trying! Thanks for "not" telling us and giving us a chuckle.
