Two Words I Do Not Like To Hear!
COME ON!
I bet Madi's Mom never says that to Madi!
Sometimes when we are out walking, the tall guy
keeps saying "Come on!".
Please notice the exclamation point.
He doesn't say "Come on."
He doesn't say "Come on, please."
He just says
"Come on!"
Usually when I have found
something interesting to smell.
I don't think I'll ever understand peoples.
No as bad as saying "come on" as they are walking towards the bathroom with a pile of dog towels - now that is scary!
ReplyDeleteJack,
ReplyDeleteWe could not agrees wif you more, peoples are just too weird to ever understand. :)
Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae and Max
Dear Jack,
ReplyDeleteYou look very curious about whatever that is on the ground that you are trying to inspect.
Remember the old saying, "Curiosity killed the cat?" Well, maybe the tall guy is just trying to save your life when he says "Come on!" with an exclamation point.......(and maybe Madi's Mom repeats that same thing to Madi when she is about to get into trouble)....
Okay, I know the whole scenario is far-fetched, but it's the best I can come up with for now.....
Your friend,
Nancy
We get pulled back to the car and told "COME ON!" It's rude and embarrassing in front of the other dogs.
ReplyDeleteOur people have NO manners sometimes!
Wyatt and Stanzie
Thats all we hear too. Come on. No...No Come...Come On
ReplyDeleteNutty!
Benny & Lily
Jack...I'm glad you called this out.
ReplyDeleteso many smells and so little time! Tucker does the same thing..and I will admit I am the same as TG..Come on! Sorry Jack, us peoples are all the same!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand Jack. They just don't get how impawtant those smells are to us. We have to catch up on the news with our pals. I get the "come on!" all the time. I ignore it and it works for a while.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
How rude unless of course it's ' Come on ! We're going to McDonalds'.
ReplyDeletethey just don't know how to live jack.
ReplyDeletethey just don't know how to live.
it's called hurry syndrome!
xo
Just tell TG to get his boxers out of a bunch, and to hang on for a bit!! Geesh!
ReplyDeleteLovies, Miss Mindy
Maybe if their noses were closer to the ground they'd understand!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
Jack, I hear ya'. I like to sniff a lot too. Sometimes the other doggies leave me pee-mails where we walk and I have to spend a lot of time carefully reviewing them. Then mom says "come on." I really don't understand, she spends all that time on the 'puter and I don't tell her to "come on," why don't I get that kind of time with my pee-mails?
ReplyDeleteYour fur-riend, Bosley
Congratulations, Jack, on once again labrador retrievers holding the favorite dog title in America's hearts. We are a pretty amazing class, if we do say so ourselves.
ReplyDeleteYour fellow Labs,
Bear and Fergie
I agree, my friend....just like "hurry up...." when I am doing my business....I bet Mike wouldn't like it if I kept saying "hurry up" when he was busy....I'm just saying....I mean really....who cares if it's freezing out!
ReplyDeleteYes, humans are very strange. They just don't make any sense!
ReplyDeleteKeep Calm & Bark On,
Murphy & Stanley
And yet when dogs tell their people to "come on" the people just ignore them. It's just not fair, is it, Jack?
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL MOL
ReplyDeleteJACK
YOU ARE 100% CORRECT I SAY IT TO MOM....IN RAPID SUCCESSION EVERY DAY AT 3:59 PM WHEN IT IS TIME FOR MY SUPPER. AND SOMETIMES I HAVE TO SAY IT A LOT WITH MORE EMPHASIS COME AND ADD A NOW...SHE IS EVIDENTLY HARD OF HEARING.
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
Our pack hears that too! Gotta tell ya though, not as much now that there are some blind dogs in the pack. They have taught me, the human, to slow down and let them sniff more. Extended rolling sessions in yucky stuff will continue to produce the "come on!".

ReplyDeleteI hate that too. I try to ignore momma but sometimes she walks right up behind me when I am busy snuffling as "nudges" me with her leg. The indignity of it all.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
They never understand us pups need to check our p-mail too!
ReplyDeleteSam
We get that all the time too
