In which, once again, I don't get none.

Please ignore the picture.
It has absolutely nothing to do with this sad story.

It seems, that since I do not have any monies
and I can not drive,
I do not get any say on what we get when
we go to the Hardee's
(which for those unfamiliar with fast-food
restaurants, it is one of).

The tall guy went to the Hardee's this morning
in anticipation of very cold weather coming.
He said that cold weather required
biscuits and gravy,
which evidently are something so delicious
that merely thinking about them
make you brave sub-zero temperatures
just to get them.

Notice that I said EVIDENTLY.
EVIDENTLY, biscuits and gravy are so good
that I was not allowed to have any.
Oh, I could SMELL the biscuits and gravy,
and I could watch the biscuits and gravy
being EATEN,
but I did not get to taste no biscuits and gravy.

It matters not that I got to eat some egg from
an egg biscuit while someone else was eating
the biscuits and gravies,
the important point,
and I can not stress this enough, is that
I DID NOT GET NO BISCUITS AND GRAVIES.

That's all I have to say.

  1. Jack - Don't worry. You may have missed Hardee's today but it's probably a cold weather short stack at ihop tomorrow . All good things come to Jacks who wait.

  2. Oh Jack I'm meowless. So TG had his biscuit and gravy in your presence w/o offering you any. Shame on him such bad manners!!!

But let me just say don't feel like the lone ranger. Mom and Dad had 1/2 of a honey baked ham. I only got 3 pieces of ham smaller than your toenail and those 3 pieces had to be thoroughly inspected for any fat and then rinsed off so I didn't get to taste any of the honey or fat.
    Hugs madi your hungry bfff

  4. Wow, Jack, that's horrible! I can't believe Tall Guy didn't share. I bet they were wonderful...maybe give TG the silent treatment and the stink eye and hope the guilt fixes this.

  5. Jack, I am so sad for you. Biscuits and gravy and very yummy and Mommy loves Hardees, even though we don't have many around us any more. You have been robbed!

  7. That is NOT right that you were denied biscuits and gravies. Can you call the local ASPCA? I think this needs investigated!

  11. I am stunned! I think you and TG need to sit down and have a heart to heart. Set some priorities.

  12. Dear Jack,

You are deprived of biscuits and gravy, and then you're expected to believe that a little bit of egg from an egg biscuit is an acceptable substitute.....

What kind of way is that to start off a new year??? I think you better have a discussion with the tall guy about this!

    Your friend,
    Nancy

  14. Gosh Jack I think a call to the doggy union rep is in order!! Maybe TG would get the message if we formed a picket line around his car so he could't leave until he promised biscuits and gravy. That's my solution......desperate measures for desperate time. Yur friend in solidarity, Casey
