At Rose Canyon Lake!

As Jed Clampett would say,
WELL DOGGIES!!
We went back up to the lake today.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of people there.
(I'll tell you more about THAT tomorrow!)
But I still got to play in the water.
So, when you come visit me,
we will go play in the water too.
Unless you don't like the water.
Then, you can watch me play in the water
and we will eat cookies on the way home
(which is about as good as it gets!)

And for all the peoples out there,
do you know what movie the music is from?
First one to guess right gets to be
THE FIRST ONE WHO GUESSES RIGHT! :)

(NFTTG: Sorry the pictures are so small. Blogger is acting up
and won't let me post the bigger version of the slideshow.)

  1. Of course I know what it is but I'm not going to tell you until I get a cookie!! I'll let someone else go first.
PS I don't swim very well. I'm glad you do.

  2. Rose Canyon Lake looks like lots of fun...we can't go to our favorite swimming spot now because of all the kids out of school...we think the little rug rats should go to school year round!!! ;)

If Hubby was still up, he would know the movie...it sounds like Dave Grusin, am I close?

Thanks again, R, for the wonderful "pressies",

  3. RE: the string. Ms. K and I have the same problem - too many peoples at the water - so that's why Jack is still on his string!

Ms. K has the right composer, but not the name of the movie yet! I hope she didn't wake up her husband to find out! :)

  4. You & Khyra are too darn fast! My assistant kept changing her mind about where I was actually headed (like it matters omg.) First I was going toward the MO/KS state line, then I was just heading south. She finally settled on the doggy park. I hope that's okay with both of you. BOL!

Looks like you had a good time at the lake:)

  8. OMD Jack you found they water for your pool!!!
Mom actually flinched when you shook off the lake water...she said she felt like she was right there with you. We are so glad you had such a good time at the watering hole. Umm thanks for the invite to join you in the water but I, Madi, am allergic to water; however, I am very fond of cookies!!

We thoroughly enjoyed watching Dog Daze play on today's post!! Well done. I think the people were having as much fun as the pups.

Mom and I don't recognize the beautiful music but we like it a lot.
