Today I Am A Dog!

Today, I am 2 years old. I don't really know what that means, but the tall guy seems to think that it's a special day, so I'm just going to play along with him. He said that I am going to get all kinds of surprises today, so as long as they are the GOOD kind of surprises, it sounds pretty neat! I got a bunch of stuff in the mail, so hopefully those are part of the surprises he was talking about. (He said we would have pictures tomorrow.)

He also said that from now on, I am going to be a 'DOG' instead of a 'puppy'. That sounds pretty good too (I guess we'll be going to the dog park now instead of the puppy park). As long as I still get to sleep on his head ever now and again, he can call me whatever he wants!

It seems hard to think that I've gone from this:

to this:
in such a short time. The tall guy says he can't believe it either. He's only got like 24000 pictures of me and he said that's not nearly enough.

So come back tomorrow and we can all be surprised together! And thank you to all the peoples, puppies and feline puppies who sent me a "Happy Birthday!" message. The tall guy says they make him smile. I don't know why - it's not HIS birthday! :)

  8. Happy Birthday Jack!

So now you are a DOG and not a PUPPY does that mean you can't chew any more. Does that include table legs, slippers and stuffed toys? Get serious Jack, are you ready to give all that up?

Only joking, of course you ready!

Liked the pic of you as a teeny weeny puppy. My how you have grown...

  14. Happy Birthday, Jack!!! We know you are going to have a wonderful day. Ciara wants to be a dog too, she is tired of being a puppy, but she has a ways to go yet.

Good that the TG has so many pics of you - that way he and you will never forget what it was like when you were still a puppy.

  49. Happy Belated Birthday! I'm a little shelter puppy who is about to be adopted by a nice family today, and so my new family is reading up on dogs to learn all they can. I'm a sweet dog, so my family won't need any of these:
