I Did Not Know That Such A Thing
Even Existed!

Well, it's been an interesting weekend around here.  The tall guy ate some POISON FOOD!  And then he had to go to the bathroom A LOT!  I did not even know there was such a thing.  As poison food that is.  I know what a bathroom is.  To a dog, the whole world's a bathroom!  BOL!!

Anyway, he wanted me to remind you that today was the final day for nominations for the organization who will get the proceeds from our doggy cookbook.

Here's who we have so far:

•  Hearts In Harmony

•  The Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine

•  Arizona Golden Retriever Connection

•  French Bulldog Rescue Network

•  All For One

•  Old Dog Haven

•  Humane Society of Missouri

•  A Chance For Bliss

•  WorldVets

•  Saving Death Row Dogs

•  Coast and Canyon Wildlife Rescue

•  Chase Away K9 Cancer

•  Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary

So, if you have anyone you would like to add, please leave a comment.  We will start the voting later this week.

Thank you!!

  1. Give the TG a big bowl of water so he doesn't get de-hydrant-ed.

  6. Jack, tell TG not to test the recipes he gets for the book! That's doggie food! And, btw TG, sorry you got the food poisons. Be careful what you eat. Junk food is best. It's always prepackaged and doesn't expire for years!

  17. Has the TG been testing recipes again? Hope he's better. More importantly, who fed you while the TG was so sick? He gets extra bonus points if he hauled himself out of his sick bed to tend to your needs. And a nice kiss on the nose.

  21. Hi there Jack, and hi to TG, too. your blog is fun to read and I just bookmarked it so I can come back and LOL at your posts.

I'm not quite sure if you're still accepting suggestions but perhaps you'll go for WorldVets. I guess when I read the latest post I'll know.

Anyway, I hope the TG is doing fine now...and maybe next time before he eats something that's not the usual he lets you SNIFF it out first :) just to be sure there's nothing in it that would make him compete with you in getting to the toilet :)

  23. Poison food! Blehhhhhhhh. Augie and Ti's human dad ate some poison food once (cooked by outsiders, NOT me) and it wasn't pretty. Nooooo, not pretty at all. Can you run away for a little bit, Jack? ;-)
