I Did Not Know That Such A Thing
Even Existed!
Well, it's been an interesting weekend around here. The tall guy ate some POISON FOOD! And then he had to go to the bathroom A LOT! I did not even know there was such a thing. As poison food that is. I know what a bathroom is. To a dog, the whole world's a bathroom! BOL!!
Anyway, he wanted me to remind you that today was the final day for nominations for the organization who will get the proceeds from our doggy cookbook.
Here's who we have so far:
• Hearts In Harmony
• The Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine
• Arizona Golden Retriever Connection
• French Bulldog Rescue Network
• All For One
• Old Dog Haven
• Humane Society of Missouri
• A Chance For Bliss
• WorldVets
• Saving Death Row Dogs
• Coast and Canyon Wildlife Rescue
• Chase Away K9 Cancer
• Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary
So, if you have anyone you would like to add, please leave a comment. We will start the voting later this week.
Thank you!!
Give the TG a big bowl of water so he doesn't get de-hydrant-ed.

Feel better TG!
ReplyDeleteWhy would TG eat poison food? I agree that is a mystery. Maybe he should stick to known safe and nommy stuff like goose poop.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Oh NO JACK!!!
ReplyDeletePoor TG bless his heart. Mom knows exactly how he felt over the weekend. In January the poison food bus parked in front of our house too. Pardon our bad grammar but 'it ain't no fun'!!
It was nice of you tal take care of him....after all he was there for you when you were a puppy with an explosive digestive system.
Hugs Madi
Jack, tell TG not to test the recipes he gets for the book! That's doggie food! And, btw TG, sorry you got the food poisons. Be careful what you eat. Junk food is best. It's always prepackaged and doesn't expire for years!
ReplyDeleteJack, you might want to stay away from the bathroom for a while, I'm suz sayin'...
ReplyDeleteFeel better TG!!!
Woof! Woof! Oh Poor TG. FP is no FUN. ... Anyway, we are super excited about the cookbook. Great did not realized you are taking additional nomination. We would like AHGRRS: Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary. BTW: check out our blog post yesterday - tasty treat for you Jack. Also, got your book back n did a photo shoot. We will post our review this weekend, will let you know via email. Lots of Golden Thanks n Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWhy did the Tall Guy even buy poison food? Next time tell him to take that off the shopping list....I'm just sayin'....
ReplyDeletePoor TG!
ReplyDeleteWhy did he get into the poison food?!
I hope he's feeling better by now!
Raider
No more poison food allowed!
ReplyDeleteJack, I bet it's never a dull momment living with TG.
ReplyDeleteI mean moment. I've been drinking again!
ReplyDeleteOH dear! I hope the Tall Guy feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteWhatever that foodable was that made TG sick, I would suggest NOT includin' it in your cookbook. Just sayin'.....
ReplyDeleteWoofs and non-poisonous slobbers,
Chester ;0=)
Oh goodness, tell the tall man to get better and stay away from poison food! UGH!
ReplyDeleteWe hope the Tall Guy is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteSam
Has the TG been testing recipes again? Hope he's better. More importantly, who fed you while the TG was so sick? He gets extra bonus points if he hauled himself out of his sick bed to tend to your needs. And a nice kiss on the nose.
ReplyDeleteJed & Abby
Oh-oh!
ReplyDeleteI hope he is feeling better now!
Yes. Give him lots of water!
Kisses and hugs

Hi there Jack, and hi to TG, too. your blog is fun to read and I just bookmarked it so I can come back and LOL at your posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure if you're still accepting suggestions but perhaps you'll go for WorldVets. I guess when I read the latest post I'll know.
Anyway, I hope the TG is doing fine now...and maybe next time before he eats something that's not the usual he lets you SNIFF it out first :) just to be sure there's nothing in it that would make him compete with you in getting to the toilet :)
Jack - So sorry we are late hearing about the Tall Guy. That is terrible and not fun. Take care fellas, okay?
ReplyDeletePoison food! Blehhhhhhhh. Augie and Ti's human dad ate some poison food once (cooked by outsiders, NOT me) and it wasn't pretty. Nooooo, not pretty at all. Can you run away for a little bit, Jack? ;-)
