But I don't WANT you
to go to Canadia!!
It seems that the tall guy has decided that he is hot, so he is going to somewhere called Canadia to get cold.
It is another one of these "They don't allow dogs in (insert place here)" trips. He's going somewhere called "Vancoovers". I shall have to consult the Googles to find out if dogs are allowed to go there.
And he had better bring me back a t-shirt!
Jack, you would love Vancoovers. They have LOTS of water there!! Have a good trip, TG. Stay cool, Jack!
ReplyDeleteRottie Kisses~
And Vancoovers is such a dog friendly place, too, Jack. Tell your papa that.
ReplyDeleteBTW Jack, I think you would love Sophie. She's a really pretty girl. Can you tell?
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, Jack, we is canadiaans! We love canadia!
ReplyDeleteJack,
ReplyDeleteThe TG is leaving you again??? Yes, you better check this out and make sure dogs cant go. He better bring back something really good for leaving you home all by your lonesome!!

American dogs absolutely can go to Canadia! Mama took two Danes once. Back then, all you needed was a current rabies certificate. Might want to check and see if there's been any changes. We can call the Canadian Embassy for you and ask. Canadia was very dog friendly, at least in the part mama visited. So pack your bag, buddy, and tell the TG to gas up the car. The drive is half the fun.

We just checked the Canadian Embassy website. You still only need a signed and dated certificate of a rabies vaccination from a vet, verifying vaccination within the last 3 years before your trip to Canadia. Enjoy your trip, Jack! Send us a tee shirt. Or some Nanaimo Bars!
ReplyDeleteJed & Abby
BOOHOO! That's no fair! He should totally bring you along Maybe sneak into his luggage bag when he's not watching? Well, let's just hope he brings back some nice things for you from the Vancoovers.
ReplyDeleteAw, I have a feeling he'll bring you back some really nice treats!!
ReplyDeleteJack...I feel your pain...I heard Mom and Dad talking about making hotel reservations.
ReplyDeleteVancoovers is a beautiful city. TG will love it there. Mom said they docked in Vancoovers on their way home from Alaska.
Please tell TG to have a great vacation and Jack
I know you'll enjoy your time at the Doggie B&B.
I hear they have lots of cookies there.
Madi
Guess that means we won't hear from you for awhile? Shucks!
ReplyDeleteOh man!!! My TG went to the Vancoovers and alls I got was this lousy t-shirt! ...again...
ReplyDeleteI hope theyll watch some pretty awesome hockey while there!

Jack, be on your best behavior. Beg, but don't whine. Fetch like you've never fetched before, and last, but certainly not least, lay in front of the door and don't budge. Maybe TG will take you then!
ReplyDeleteP.S. TG: Beer would be a nice alternative, once Little Bear goes home!
You tell your dad, Jack, that Canadia is VERY dog friendly, especially Vancoovers. He should really take you too and let you have a swim in the ocean! You'd love it!! :)
ReplyDeleteJen and the Black Dog Crew (who are still waiting for it to get hot, here in the middle of Canadia, so we can justify a trip to the much cooler Vancoover ourselves!)
Aaaw Home Alone then Jack, this might work out well - we're thinking party!! Of course the t- shirt goes alongside something edible, that goes without saying ;-) Dex & Lou x
ReplyDeleteJack, that is so wrong...you need to cool off too and keep your eyes on TG. We don't live too far from Vancoovers and it is dog friendly. Hope you get to stay with someone VERY special and that TG brings you home some good stuff - treats, toys, etc
ReplyDeleteErnie,Sasha,Chica,Lucas
What is happening here? Mike and Beth are leaving me to take care of Mike's brother in a few weeks....I don't get it!
ReplyDeleteThe nerve! Leaving you in the heat! You better get a present
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Canadia, thats where I live. Not anywhere near Vancoovers though, hopefully it is nice and cool there for you. Make usre the tall guy brings his hockey gear for when the Canucks win the Stanley Cup!
ReplyDelete(ps. they for sure let dogs like you to come, only in canucks gear though!)
I think for you to go to Vancoovers you would have to get a bunch of shots and stay in a crate for a long time. I think it's better to stay home than get shots!
ReplyDeleteCanada loves dogs, Jack! Make the Tall Guy take you with!
ReplyDeleteSam
Our hu-dad has been there and saw lots of dogs. Of course, we were not on that trip either.
ReplyDeleteI hope this time is true! No dogs.... hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteI wish TG a nice and safe trip!
And you... have fun too!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Can't you just wet him down with the hose? Does he have to go to Canadias to cool off?
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Safe trip to TG. Too bad you cannot go, Jack.
ReplyDeleteIf you hide his underwear, he might not be able to go. Try it next time!
