Yep, we went up to the mountains to get away from the hot.
I liked looking out the window.
The tall guy said it's hard to take a picture and drive at the same time!
That's why I'm blurry!
There was even water up there.
It was nice and shady and it wasn't even hot!
We even saw a flower we had never seen before!
It looks like a dandelion, but not like any dandelion we had seen before!
If anyone knows what it is, please let us know!
And don't forget to keep buying the cookbook so we can raise lots of money.
Cool , Jack .
ReplyDeleteOh, so there is no hotness in the mountains?? Pretty cool!!

Way to stay cool!
ReplyDeleteTop of the morning to you my handsome friend...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea TG had to head to the hills for a few days. There is nothing more invigorating that mountain air. I asked Mom about the flower...she told me to call my Uncle becasue he is the Plant Pathologist in the family.
Hugs,
Madi
It certainly does look like a dandelion...did you get a shot of the stem and leaves?
ReplyDeleteOur mountains just aren't high enough to offer cooler climes...I might have been better off staying in Savannah w/ the seabreeze! :)
The mountains are the only place to be...!!We love being North Carolina mountain dogs....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy...Max & Mia
Jack the tall one is talented since driving and taking a picture takes a lot of concentration. Bet your adventure was a nice one. That thing looks like the dandelions we bite

Awesome adventure!
ReplyDeleteWhen it gets really hot(like now) in Oklahoma, we too, head for the mountains. Only it will take us 10 hours to get there! But it is worth it.
ReplyDeleteHot here too, and we're heading for the mountains soon! Stay cool, Jack!
ReplyDeleteSure you loved being there, Jack!
ReplyDeleteKisses and hugs
Lorenza
That sounds like a good plan to beat the heat! Maybe you can stay up there for a few weeks! :)

What a nice outting! Parker Canyon Lake and Lake Patagonia are also nice for puppies since they can go swimming! I am impatiently waiting until Sept. 4 when we get to bring home one of your new sisters! I just ordered your cookbook so I can make delicious treats for her!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can share an adventure with her some time!
Grins - which is why we live in the mountains so we get cool everyday!
