Please and Thank You!

I have no idea what the tall guy is talking about
when he says
"Please"
or
"Thank you".

He usually says it when he's trying
to get me to do something.

Also,
"I'm gonna get your nose".

What the heck does THAT mean?

I much prefer
"Would you like a cookie?".

Now THAT I know.

Do your peoples say anything to you
that doesn't make any sense?

  4. Personally, I don't care what she says as long as I keep getting my way.
It is a good idea to let her think I am listening though.

  8. I learned a long time ago to tune out their drivel. They probably think they're in charge, but, of course, they're not.

Going to Dory's blog now to call her Missy PooPoo. BOL

  12. Blueberry is often driven to zoomies when I get "the claw" out. I curl up my hand and slowly, slowly edge it towards her and say "Heeeeerrrreee cooooomes theeeeee CLAW!" Then she runs out the dog door really fast! Or else to the fridge to see if she can get me to give her a treat for scaring her with the claw like that.

  13. Hi Jack, one member of our pack often hears, "don't squash the cat" and the three blind ones are told "beep-beep, back it up like a bus" but they don't know what a bus is....

  15. Im still tryin to figure out their fascination with my tail is? I'm always gettin, "Watch your tail!" or "Get your tail!" I do well to watch what is in front of me, let alone behind me and why would I want to bite my own tail? They're an odd bunch, for sure.

  16. My people say lots that I don't understand! And then there are words that I wish I didn't understand. Like "bath". Bath is a terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad word...

    Nice to meet you!

  17. Now that we think about it our peoples say lots of things we don't understand like "come, sit, stay, no, get down" and what the heck does heel mean? But we do understand words like ccookie, treat, dinner, walk and play. Also good dog, but our favorite is "Love you".
