More Words

Last time, I told you about some of the words that the tall guy says that I don't know.
Today, I would like to tell you about one of my FAVORITE words
(besides cookie).

And that word is
BAGEL!!!!!!!!!!!!

See all the !!!!!!!!!!  That means I really, really, really, really, really like that word.
See all the really, really, reallys?  That means that I .... well, you get the picture.

I do love me some bagel.
The tall guy usually goes and gets 2 bagels on Saturday morning
and I get 1/2 of one of them
(wheat only, thank you).
I take it outside and eat it AL FRESCO
(that means sitting in the grass).

So, do you have a favorite word
that your family uses?

  1. Hye Jack, My favorite word is "Work". When my Vickie looks me in the eye and says "Bert, Do you want to go to work" I just know that we are in for a GREAT time. It means a search which means lots of time in the mountains and lots of time with her.

Speaking of Bagels.....Let me tell you what Mom and Dad discovered at the Harris Teeter yesterday..........are you ready?
Thomas Bagels has a limited edition Pumpkin Spice Bagel and yesterday Thomas Bagels were BOGO....and BOGO is Mom's favorite word!
Also every Friday Mom and Dad have breakfast at Panera and they always get an Assiago Cheddar Cheese bagel slathered in Land O'Lakes butter. I bet TG's mouth is watering over the Land O' Lakes butter.

  7. "Find it" so Blueberry can hunt for treats. Or "around" cause then she spins and gets a treat. I can't even use the word in a regular sentence without her doing a spin for me!

Bagel is a good word. Mmmm...bagel...

    1. P. S. - I also answered your question about the park on my blog in the comments section. I wasn't sure if you were really serious or if you just wanted to know because a Pull a Lot Park sounds like gosh darn fun! ;)

  9. Dear Jack,

My golden retriever is at the Rainbow Bridge now, but her very favorite word was "sah-jes" - that meant she was going to get a massage! I took a class and learned how to do it, and she loved it.

She also loved to hear "Let's go clean your ears" - she absolutely loved to get her ears cleaned out. She would run and lay down on her side, and after I cleaned the first ear, she would flip over and put the other ear up so I could get that one, too. Weird, but true!

    Your friend,
    Nancy

    2. Thank you, Tammy - she was a hoot. I cleaned her ears with a mixture of equal parts alcohol, water, and vinegar. The vinegar helped with the yeast, and the alcohol cut the goo. One big problem - any time I used vinegar FOR ANY REASON, she would smell it and think it was time for her ears to be cleaned! LOL

Oh, and she LOVED her bath! She used to jump in the bathtub as a puppy and sleep there. I have pictures of it - hilarious! But, when it was time for a bath, all I had to so was say so, and she would run into the bathroom and jump into the tub! Told you she was weird!!! (But in a GOOD way)!

      Happy Thanksgiving to you!

  11. I have never tried "bagel" before. I will have to speak to my people...

Some of my favourite words are, "Dinner's ready!" Momma B calls this out when the people-food goes on the table, which means that my bowl is about to hit the ground too! These words always make my whole body wiggle. Now the people want me to stay on my mat, so I try... I really do. But sometimes I have to wiggle off.

    Cobi
