We did not get to go play
in the snow today...

because it snowed.

I know, it doesn't make any sense to me either.
We were going to go up to the mountains
to play in the snow today,
but evidently the road is closed
because of the snow we got last night.

It even snowed at our house,
but, of course, most of it was gone
by the time the tall guy got out of bed!

I think we are going to try again
next week.
Wish me luck!

  1. Yeah, we keep hearing the same thing..."Oh Bart and Ruby, I want to take you up to the snow so that you can do snow zoomies!!" Well. We're waiting, lady...

  5. You've had more snow this winter than we have! That's not normal. Mama is also a late sleeper, but so are we so we don't mind. And we so agree with your 'cute' post; while we love to share mama's bed [but almost never get to do so], we hate to be covered even when it's cold. That's why we have all these furs, so we don't need covers.

Hope you get a road trip next weekend.

  6. Quite often in Scotland you can't get to the ski centres 'cos the roads are closed by snow!

  7. Hey Jack, it's your Aussie buddy Ben here. You are getting the cold snow and I am getting the hot thing in the sky over here. I am usually trying to find a bit of the cold to cool off. I like the big box on the wall that sends out the cold air and am always looking for that. Hope you enjoy playing in the snow. I haven't seen any here.

  10. Aww, sorry you didn't make it to the mountains, Jack...but I bet the Tall Guy will get you there as soon as he possibly can after the roads open back up.

PS - When you get there, be sure to roll over on your back and sway your hips rapidly from side to side - you'll be surprised at the "snow angel" you can make when you do this :-)

    Nancy

  11. Hey Jack
Ahhh we are so confused about not playing in the snow because it snowed. You know we have had a very busy day today so it doesn't take much to confuse us. But I guess there is more snow int the mountains and it is more fun to play!!

Give TG a great big sloppy like from me and for my lullaby...
Mom says I'm a fruit cake. It is 64 here today sunny and where am I? Under the comforter on their bed. I never get under it when it is 35 outside.
    Hugs madi your bfff
