Where do YOU
get to sleep?

I don't know why peoples put all these sheets and blankets and stuff all over a perfectly good puppy bed. As you can see, it would be much nicer if there were just a few pillows and a bone or cookie to chew on when you wake up in the middle of the night.

Oh, and the tall guy specifically wanted me to tell you that this is not his bed. Something about his mama would die if she ever saw an unmade bed like that!

You do know that there is a law that says that puppies get to occupy 2/3rds of any furniture they happen to fall asleep on.

I also have a couch that I get to sleep on when the tall guy starts snoring too much, but that's another story!

So, do you get to sleep with your peoples in their bed? Where do YOU get to sleep?

  2. Oh Jack!! Pillow buddy.
I am quite happy in my little snoozle cave nearby. Keep it dark, add a soft bed, a few squeeky toys, some water...and I'll be heading in when my day is done. Sweet dreams.

  3. I have to sleep in the dog cave. Can you imagine? Well, actually I can sleep anyplace I want, but the dog cave is the only place with Mango sized beds. So really I the one place I cannot go is momma and master's sleepy room where there most certainly is a Mango sized bed that with a built in ramp would be most accommodating. Stupid PeeWee has a whole couch.

  4. As you can imagine, we are a mixed bag. Kiska and Cheoah sleep in their crates. Kodiak has his own personal arm chair that he claimed long ago. Qannik is quite the human bed hog (though he has this thing for sleeping ON the human). Rusty sleeps either in the human bed or on the ottoman at the foot.

The variable is Queen Natasha the Evil. She usually prefers to sleep on the floor, but IF she choses to sleep in the human bed, all other dogs must move out of her way. It is just her way.

  5. Jack that look like a comfy UNMADE bed. LOL We had to poke fun at you!!
Mom here: Madi has her own bed,at night. WHY? Because she requires part of her body being on any part of the bed that has a human on it. Yes this 10.5 lb cat can take up both sides of the bed at one time. Back when she slept with us, her favorite spot was smack dab in the middle of our legs. You have not experienced dead weight until you have tried to turn over in the middle of the night with a sleeping cat on top of the blankets between your bent legs. Milky-Way always slept at the bottom of the bed on a towel never on the humans. I know a good Mom should not compared her furids....

  7. Poor Ellie is relegated to only her raised doggie bed and the floor....NEADS doesn't let service puppies in training on the furniture.

But she doesn't seem to mind too much! She likes her bed, but I'm sure she would like mine better....

Imagine someone allowing a DOG on their bed...

(Move over Buddy, you're hogging the blanket.)

  12. I sleep in my round cozy bed near the Peeps' bed - I like it lots and have a toy or two in it as well. And sometimes my antler. I have another bed in the living room, but I prefer to sleep on the rug or couch there (which I'm allowed to do in that one room. Sometimes on the weekends, Mom or Dad will invite me to say good morning, so I jump up on their bed to give lickies and such. But they move around too much for me to be able to get my beauty sleep there heheh! I like your bed lots!

  14. Got your comment and of course figured you'd be posting about dog beds too, BUT your post was funny, it's my kind of post. Love it! I .... am not doing what I want these days, so you know dear fun friend. Therefore, I'll have to stop by as frequently as possible for good quality and entertainment. You still rock, Jack!

  19. Lady sez: Beds are too high, I am too old to be jumping up and down off the darn bed. Anyway, I prefer the cool bathroom tile. Its tons of fun to watch Dad try to navigate around me in the middle of the night. BOL

  21. My whole life I slept alone, but this year I finally made my way into the big bed. Sometimes I take up so much space, one of my peoples will go sleep on the couch! When I look so cute and comfortable they don't want to move me - and I see you have mastered that technique too :)

  23. My dad makes the bed three or four times each day and I unmake it. I thought humans were supposed to be smart. Apparently he does not get it.
