RACY-PEES!

I don't think that Paula Deen makes this kind of stuffing!
There must be something more delicious.

All this talk about foods has made me hungry
(and we won't have macaronis again for another week),
but the tall guy said he doesn't know how to cook
food for puppies.

So if you have any EASY recipes for puppies,
would you please leave them for the tall guy in the comments?
Or if you have put any good recipes on YOUR blog,
would you let him know where to find them?
OR
if you know any good websites or books about
cooking for puppies,
would you let him know about that too?
(Please note:
Cooking FOR puppies, not cooking puppies - unless they are hush!)

I will fix them and tell you which one is my favorite.
I sure would appreciate it.
Sincerely,
A very skinny puppy Jack

  3. How to cook for puppies, by Mango;

    1) Go to supermarket
    2) Purchase roast beef, turkey, broccoli, apples, yogurt, and cheese.
    3) Remove seeds from apple.
    4) Place all contents in dog bowl

Sheesh! Even my momma can do that.

For dessert, purchase one pint of Ben and Jerry's vanilla ice cream. Place on floor. Back away slowly.

  4. Jack,
My mom doesn't cook for me at all but she does have a friend who makes me yummy dog treats. I will ask her to get the recipe so I can send it to you.

  6. There is not enough room on this blog to write all the good food the Tall Guy should make you! Go to the food channel and just have him make it all!

  11. We've used the Three Dog Bakery Cookbook to make some treats for Dar. Other treats are usually cored apples with peanut butter stuffed in the middle. She loves fruits so if we have some we'll share some with her (except for grapes!). She also loves tomatoes so we'll slice some up for her while Jason gets some (I don't eat them). She actually really likes rice too, so when we make us rice for dinner we usually make a little extra for her. We don't usually go out of our way to make anything special for her, just what we're eating and we know is safe for her to have she'll get a little of it.

  12. http://armyoffourdigest.blogspot.com/

This blog has not only yummy puppy treats but human ones as well.

My puppies like it when we make pancakes. The first one never turns out right for us but they love it.

  13. Yes! TG should make you homemade "Frosty Paws" (doggy ice cream)!

1 32 oz container of plain yogurt
    2 ripe bananas
    2 tablespoons peanut butter
    2 tablespoons honey

Put everything in a blender, and blend until smooth. (You can also mash everything together in a bowl, but then it will be chunky.)

Pour into individual containers. We use those disposable plastic ones from Glad or Ziploc (they are actually reuseable). This makes 10+ servings or so.

Freeze until hard. Serve and enjoy!

Augie and Ti get one every night :)

  15. I should add that the yogurt is the "base" and you can really add/substitute anything you like. For example, if your dog hates bananas, try applesauce. Or canned pumpkin. Jarred baby foods are great too!

If you want to try out a smaller amount first, you can buy a small container of plain yogurt, throw in a jar of baby food bananas, a tablespoon of peanut butter, a squirt of honey (or leave it out), and voila! About 4 servings :)
