If a squirrel can do it,
so can I!
so can I!
Let's see, if I just put one foot here and then put my other foot here and then push with my tail...
What is so important that I tried to climb a tree?
Is it an acorn?
Is it a t-bone steak?
Is it a new car?
No, it's a

Stick, stick,
I must get the stick.
Jump up into the air,
Just to get the stick.
Up and down and back again,
Just to get the stick.
All this jumping,
up and down,
I hope you don't get sick!

Hmmm, I wonder how that stick got up there in the first place?
I thought I saw it lying on the ground when we got here, and then the tall guy walked by...
Hmmm, I wonder if it was a hurricane that blew it up into the tree?
Or maybe a big bird came by and picked it up to build its nest.
Or maybe the tall guy put it up there because he got tired of me picking it up
and chewing on it.
I guess it's just a mystery!
Scooby Doo, where are you?

All those unanswered questions must be mindboggling!!!
ReplyDeleteAh yes I got my toy for Christmas!!
Keep trying for the stick...!
Koda
So many sticks, so little time...
ReplyDeleteMysteries, mysteries. Maybe Dennis the Vizsla can help you figure it out. He never gives up.
ReplyDeleteJack you are a stickler for sticks......sorry we could not help ourselves.
ReplyDeleteMadi and Mom
I think you need to interrogate the tall guy! Sam could come help you!
ReplyDeleteSam

ReplyDeleteI heard it when Mom talked to Auntie Di!

PeeEssWoo: Did woo get THE STIKHK yet?
a sticky situation if I ever saw one...
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you are branching out from your job of answerin' questions. (Mom is still laughin' about that post)
ReplyDeleteBUTT, I would be suspicious that the Tall Guy could be behind this schtinkin' problem as a way of gettin' revenge for your poor review of his dance moves. Next time you see him shakin' his groove thang I'd get out a piece of paper and put a big #10 on it and wave it at him. He will be so surprised to say the least.
Chester ;0=)
Hey Jack and TG
ReplyDeleteI know it has been a couple of days since your post about the annoying noodles at the dog park, but better late than never. I didnt get a chance to talk to my puppyu park buddies till today (there was so much mud there mum and her (and my) buddies really didnt puppy park much, and i only stayed long enuf to do my business then beg mum to take me home). Anyway, the concensus was that TG should call the Udall Park office and speak to Vince (who is in charge of the puppy parks); and they will be on the lookout for those pesky noodles. Hope this helps.

Elementary my dear Jack! It looks like a big case for us!
ReplyDeleteTall guys tend to get sore when they have to bend over a million times. They don't make good "retrievers" so it makes sense that your TG would pull a stunt like this! Tsk tsk I wish I was there to get it for you. I'd stand on your head.
ReplyDeleteTwink!
Augie and Ti would have just given up, LOL
ReplyDeleteI think the squirrel put it there. Squirrels are naughty teases.....but one day I will catch one!
ReplyDeleteJack the wonder dog - leaping trees with a single bound!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm with you Jack. The TG is the usual suspect....if you ever get ahold of that stick, bury it!
ReplyDeleteLiz
Hey jack, the whole tree is actually one big stick. Did I just blow your mind?
ReplyDeleteMe thinks the tall guy is playn' you. Our tall people do things like that too - they think it is hilarious...hmmp I find it annoying.

ReplyDeleteOh you big dogs always like your sticks. I have 2 big cousins and they love sticks too.
So......did you finally get that old stick down??
I would guess that the TG was playing tricks on you!!

WOW JACK!! You are a very determined dog! I would only jump up like that if there was a squirrel or treat involved!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a new exercise for big dogs??
Smileys!
