What's Mine is Mine...

and what's yours is mine too!

The tall guy says I have a tendency to 'borrow' toys from the other puppies at the puppy park. I tell him that I'm just trying to make sure that they don't tear them up. He says that's quite ironic since I'm the one who usually ends up chewing off pieces of whatever I happen to have my hands er... paws on at the time. I told him that HE'S ironic, well, just because. (If anyone knows what 'ironic' means, please let me know!)

And anyway, I have to take the toys to the water dish to make sure they are clean when the other puppies are ready to play with them. The tall guys says that's not ironic, that's just a compelsion!

  1. Morning Jack,
Ahhh Jack toys, food, etc always looks more inviting when they belong to someone else. The grass is always greener on the other side..Tall guy can explain this to you too.
You are so right about dachshund's having Great Dane hearts. We always thought Toto was just being stubborn then we'd meet another doxie with the Great Dane complex.

  2. Irony is a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is an incongruity or discordance between what one says or does and what one means or what is generally understood. Irony is a mode of expression that calls attention to the character's knowledge and that of the audience.

Does that answer your question jack? hmmmmmmm

  3. We are so happy that you are tutoring the puppies at the park on how to take good care of your toys and how to keep them clean. You are a very considerate doggy!

Our momma would like us to let you know that our stick has been in the yard for about a year and we haven't made much of a dent in it. It was made by a Maple tree. And, our momma knows to keep an eye out for splinters in our mouth and such☺ But, our momma wants us to thank you so much for looking out for us because you had some really good advice.☺

  6. Hi Jack...in response to your question about dogs on the golf course....they might just need you and your buds at the dog park to come up for Canada Geese control. While I was snapping pictures yesterday there was indeed a gaggle of geese and not one was playing golf. I expect very soon if they can't pay the green fee they will 'encouraged to leave'. There are some border collies in our area who are 'hired' for geese control. It is funny to see. Another golf course nearby found the border collies to be quite good at encouraging them to leave
