I finally found out what is going to happen tonight for Howl-oween! The tall guy said he had 2 very special jobs for me. I don't get to dress up, but that is ok. He said he didn't tell me earlier because he knew I would be TOO EXCITED!
My first (and most important) job is to let him know when the doorbell rings! When I hear the doorbell, I am supposed to start barking and go running toward the living room. (I can't get into the living room because of the gate, but that's ok.) That will be my signal to him that there are some scary things outside the door and he needs to go throw candy at them to make them go away. I told him to aim for their head.
My second (and most fun) job is to go to the door with the tall guy and bark like crazy so that the scary things will run away and never come back to our house again! For some reason, a lot of scary things (especially the little ones) get really scared themselves when I go running toward them barking. As you can see in the picture above, I'm even going to practice my 'scary eyeballs', so they will be even more scared. Scary eyeballs are pretty easy to do. Sometimes I can do it without even thinking about it because the tall guy has a LOT of pictures of me with the scary eyeballs!
So if you come by my house tonight, be prepared. The tall guy bought a lot of stuff called 'chocolate'. I'll tell him not to throw it at your head! Happy Howl-oweens!

Good thing fur me we don't pawticipate...
ReplyDeleteIt would inkhlude the step 'bolt out the door when it opens'
Happy HOWLoween!

Those eyeballs do not look scary to me, actually they look very sweet and lovey. I hope you have a good night. Happy Halloween. It sounds like the tall guy wants all the candy for himself.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs, Sasha
Happy Halloween! I can't wait until the people come to our door tonight! I won't bark because I like to look at people. Beth said I could be Count Remula. So I will get to wear my cape. I think your costume of "scary eyes" is really cool too! It is going to be SO much fun! I hope you and the tall guy have a great Halloween.
ReplyDeleteMy female PU (parental unit) says that she has learned not to trash the scary eyeball pictures. They come in quite handy at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteShe needs more scary holidays 'cuz I too am a master at scary eyeballs.
Good luck on chasin' those little monsters away! We don't get any at our house so I won't have to do anythin' but sleep tonight after my Howl-a-ween party for dogs I'm goin' to.
WOOF!
Chester ;0=)

My dogs will be barking in unison with Jack out here in the midwest...:)
ReplyDeleteJack..stay out of the chocolate...the tall guy might want some leftovers!
Something tells me the TG has found the perfect job for you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a plan, Jack. Some of those kids can be pretty scary looking, so be prepared.
ReplyDeleteTG: Sedona hotels are many and not cheap. Give me an idea what you're looking for and I'll tell you what I know. Remember, I've never actually stayed in a Sedona hotel, but I have seen quite a few of the rooms because of my work. Will Jack be coming too?
Spooky eye Jack! Get some rest before the action starts, ok pal?
ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
