HURRAY! He's finally back!!

I did my happy butt dance for like 45 minutes when he FINALLY decided to come back.
I was so excited to see the tall guy, I forgot to ask him if he brought me anything.
Can you guess what he brought me?

And here is a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!
If your person asks if you want to watch a slide show of their vacation pictures,
the answer is NO THANK YOU!
Unless of course you have nothing to do for like 800 hours.
And if you fall asleep during the slide show,
you will have to watch it
ALL OVER AGAIN
just in case you missed something.

So, here's a saying to help you remember:
If there's a slide show you must see,
Before it starts, make sure you pee!
And when the lights get turned down low,
That's a signal for you to GO!

Note from the tall guy: It wasn't 800 hours. Besides, 2392 pictures can't do full justice to the GRAND CANYON/SEDONA. Each picture tells a story, or there's a story you have to tell with each picture, or something like that.

  3. Yahoo and yipee, he is back. I am so happy for you Jack and I am doing a happy dance too in your honor. I know what you mean about the pictures, I get fidgety and bark a lot and they usually let me out of it. Good luck.

    Happy Thanksgiving

  6. Yea he's back! When you are training a reliable recall you have to be very positive and happy when they come back to you even if you were mad that they wandered off so if he got a 45min happy dance I bet he is going to come 'right back' from now on!
TG: yeah, I have heard that dogs don't get pointing (from a behaviorist I worked with) but it seems like Moose sorta gets it. It is nice since I am lazy!

  12. Woo Hoo!!! So glad he came back...but that slide show thingy, the trick is ti sit RIGHT UPCLOSE and make sure you get tummy rubs the WHOLE time. That will at least make it a bit more bearable!

  15. Gee - I've been out of the loop for a few days & didn't even know the TG was missing. Well, glad he found his way back home. Did you punish him Jack or were you just happy to see him? I've read stories about pets who travel hundreds of miles to get back home. Guess some people do too.

  17. Jack thanks for the advice about seeing vacation pcitures....When my Dad's brother returned from Egypt we too had to look at 800+ pictures. I didn't know one could take that many pictures of pyramids.
    Welcome home TG,
    Madi and Mom
