Tour de Jack!
(First Mountain Stage)
(First Mountain Stage)
Wow, I never knew how hard it was to ride a bicycle all the way up these mountains. So, about half way up, I asked my friend, Mr. Lance Armstrong, if he would give me a ride and he said he would be glad to! Boy, was I ever glad.
I told him that I would carry le Frisbee Jaune so that everyone would know that we were still the 'leader of the pack' (so to speak).
Looking fit their buddy.Phew, dont over do it!
ReplyDeleteHi, Jack!
ReplyDeleteLance was very nice giving you a ride but... now I know why he is in 14th place!
Happy sunday!

That was a smart move, Jack. Those mountain roads are a lot of work. Just make sure you don't drop that yellow frisbee.
ReplyDeleteHey!! Don't give it away...we're watching today's race NOW! A bit behind on the Tour... Lance must be super strong....to carry you AND your frizz. Wish we were there for real :)
ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
Jack - You're getting close to us. A couple more days and we'll keep an eye out for you. Don't worry we'll recognize you easily enough.
ReplyDeleteSmart move, Jack! Conserve your energy for the later legs of the race!
ReplyDeleteSam
Jack,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to pace yourself. Hang onto that frisbee!

Don't lose the Frisbee! Those Mountains can be very hard on your legs. Glad to hear that you were able to hitch a ride. Enjoy the Rest of the Race.
ReplyDeleteJack,
ReplyDeleteLooking good there, I do believe that you have the best seat in the house. My moms son, Tom wemt on a bike thing through Iowa a couple years ago and got a pic of lance and himself, cool huh??

Great thinking, Jack. Armstrong probably trained extra hard just in case something like this came up, who could refuse a puppy in need? Plus you get to see all the great scenery!
ReplyDeleteThe Hub is watching the Tour as I write this. I pointed you out to him but he's half blind and couldn't see you. Oh well, I knew you were there...I know a celebrity!
ReplyDeleteLiz
Hey Jack...we are so sorry Mr Armstrong had all those accidents today.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you and TG had a good day,
Madi and Mom
I just saw on the news that Sir Lancelot crashed several times today. However, there was no mention of a handsome, yellow, passenger, so I'm assuming you were not injured.
ReplyDeleteI won't sleep tonight, worrying about you...
Sassy
