March 11, 2010

I made it through the rain!

I don't know where all this water is coming from. I think someone sprung a leak!

It rained all day yesterday and I did not even get to go on ONE good walk. We started to go but when we got about one block away from the house, it started raining again, so we high-tailed it (well, I high-tailed it - the tall guy doesn't have much of a tail to high) and came back home.

Finally, right before it got dark, it stopped long enough for us to take a little bitty tiny short walk of only about 3 miles. That's where we found all the leaking waters. The tall guy said he loved the rain, so I guess I'm happy that it rained. Sure, he gets in the shower every morning. He's used to it!

Here's hoping your day was non-rainy-ful and you got to go on lots of walks!!

  4. No rain here, Jack, just clear and sunny. When it rains in Oklahoma in the springtime, it usually drops chunks of ice out of the clouds and these big black things called twisters whirl around and scare people. So, I'm happy with sunshine, thank you very much!

  5. Yep -- raining here too. It's making all the snow go away. I am looking forward to green grass to roll around in. 3 mile walk -- what have you lost it? I would have to stop for atleast two naps if I went that long. YOU DA MAN, Jack, my friend!

  8. No rain here but it has gotten colder. By going for a walk in the rain, you won't need a bath...

  11. We insist on daily walks no matter what the weather. There is no "canceled" walk days.

  16. Hey Jack,
Everyone knows that Tucson is in the desert and that it doesn't rain in the desert. It can't be heavy humidity because it isn't humid in the desert either. If it really rains there do all those funny cacti explode from over watering? Ar the arroyos in Tucson like there are in Albuquerque? It's rained 3 days here now and we are having a mud-fest much to the peeps chagrin.
