July 15, 2010

And now,
for your cooling enjoyment!

Here are some BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER photos
from when I got to go swimming.

I was really raring to go.
(As compared to medium-raring :)

Yes, I was really swimming - no special equipment needed!
I was told that Labradorables are just natural swimmers.
I think that means they swim without any clothes on.

You have to stop and make sure that you're not
stepping on the fishes.
They don't like that.

It's even fun when we had to leave. The tall guy left the windows open and my hair got blown all over the mountain. It was like a puppy hair snowstorm!

  3. Jack,

A lake looks more fun than a kiddie pool. :)

  5. Jack I bet you felt like you had won "King of the Day"!! What a wonderful way for a puppy to spend a pretty day. Mom and I kind of like your wet 'do' look. Looks like TG put a little 'man hair stuff' on you then ran his fingers through it to make it stand up. You have that 'cool dude' look going on.

  6. I think people call Labradogs natural swimmers because they don't need to be taught how to swim, but I've had to teach my Lab pups every time......

But it looks like you're a natural swimmer!

  9. I have a lot of swimming experience too and I have accidentally stepped on some fish and they did not appreciate my paws one bit so I got bit a lot (hee-hee)!
Seriously, though, I think you had a pawsitive swimming experience and I wish I could've gone with you! Wouldn't that be fun?
By the way, you should check out my mom's 2nd THANKFUL FUR THREE THURSDAY post beclaws she introduces 3 new friends and you can meet at least 3 new friends by adding your linky at the bottom of the post! Okay?

  12. Hmmmm...Jack. I thinks I will have to take your word for the whole "swimming is fun" thing. It's very much a mystery to me. Besides, I have it on good authority (well, my own authority) that brindle furs melt when they get wet.

  14. Jack, you look so cute when you're swimming! You need to come over and teach Cabana to swim--she's a chicken and won't go in deeper than she can stand.
