School Pictures

The tall guy told me when he was in school, a guy would come around once a year and take his picture and then his mom would have to decide how many of them she wanted to buy. He said she almost always bought one big one and one sheet with 9 pictures on it. I know, I just about fell asleep when he told me the story too.

Anyway, as you can see above, the tall guy tends to take a LOT of pictures at one time. The ones above were taken in about 3 minutes. I guess it's a good thing my mom doesn't have to buy my pictures or she would have to get 3 jobs!

I also think it's a good thing that the tall guy isn't a school photographer because then instead of 9 pictures you would have a sheet with 40 pictures on it, each one about the size of a postage stamp. I guess each one would come with its own magnifying glass!

  6. That sure is a ton of pictures of your labraface. What is with these humans always with the picture taking. As if they will forget what we look like? Hey! I'm right here!

I think you need to make sure that everybody TallGuy knows has a Jack photo in their wallet. Or maybe you could sell them to a wallet company as the default photo.

  10. You get more pictures taken then all the kids in a school combined on picture day get :)

Your TG must either have to delete his camera cards really often or have a lot of them!

  12. Nowadays, you have to pay for the photos before you even take them! No more deciding how many you want after you've seen how they turned out--you just have to go by faith that they'll never be flattering of anyone.

  13. I think I missed picture day at the school I went to. Now Beth says I have to be home schooled and all I get are the pictures she takes. I like yours. The Tall Guy made it look just like the ones Beth said she remembers. If I had some I would trade with you and write something REALLY cool on the back of it!

  14. Same with me. Some people would try to talk the photographer into giving them the ones they didn't buy instead of throwing photos of their little kids in the trash..NOT my mother of course!
Jack, I like all of your photos. I wouldn't be able to decide.

Hope mom doesn't try that with me...I might have to snaggle more of her slippers if I see her setting up the multiple sheet of a million pix! :)

  20. Have TG talk to my TG (tall gal to you). She's just as bad, but every now and then, when I look like a movie star, I forgive her.

  21. Mom says that no matter how hard her mom tried the pictures were always the worst. Have you ever seen the Ellen Show where she shows old school pictures. It ought to be illegal to look that bad for history!
