Can't a guy even sleep out in the sun
without someone taking a picture?

Jack's tips for taking a nap in the sun
• Always wear your sun scream. The tall guy uses baby sun scream on my nose (just like the lady doctor told him)
• Make sure there is a tree near by, so when you get hot, you can move into the shade.
• Make sure there are a lot of puppies out in the neighbor yards, so you can smell them. If your neighbors do not have any puppies, move. You don't want to live in a place where people do not have puppies.
• One of those nice chairs and cushions from Crate and Barrel to lie on is very comfortable. Make sure you choose a nice color to contrast with your fuzz.
• Make sure your peoples can see you through the window, so when you need a cold refreshing drink, they will be able to bring it to you.
• For some puppies, a pool would be nice after your nap. But then again, some puppies would just as soon eat a bug than get in the water! So make sure you have some bugs available.

  2. Good to see you are sensible in the sun Jack. In Australia we are always encouraged to 'Slip, Slop, Slap and that means Slip on a Shirt · Slop on Sunscreen · Slap on a Hat.

  4. Thanks for the tips. I like to lay in the sun until I am sizzling hot. Momma says I am too dumb to know when to go into the shade. As if!

  5. Some dogs don't like to lay in the sun because of their big fur coats. But bug-eatin' is A-ok!

  6. Good morning Jack....you are undoubtedly the puppy who knows the most about a lot. We learn so much from you...and on top of that you have a fine TG who looks after you from the 'tip of your nose to the tip of your tail!!! We hope TG is feeling better.

  12. Solid advice Jack-man. Since we've been in Arizona, Lady has been getting a lot of practice and wanted to add this:
"When your peeps bring you your water, be sure to roll over and swish yer tail for a belly rub. Works every time"!

  14. I think bugs & a pool would be a nice option. You can never have too much of either!

  15. Jack, you have some excellent advice! Holly goes for the bugs since we have no pool but she seems content with a bug or two! Love, Debbie and Hollydog

  16. Thank you, Jack. I only had one of those covered (lying in the sun where I can be seen and have my M serve me) but the rest was pretty much news. One time I saw a doggie with bright pink sun scream on and I refuse to wear anything pink. I'll look into other colors

We still have snow and it is raining to day so now laying outside for me. As soon as it warms up, I have a really nice front porch and swing to lay around on and it is very comfy. My yard has trees so I am all set!!

  29. Thanks for the tip. As a responsible pet owner, I am embarassed that I don't put sun screen on my puppies noses.

  30. Weather is finally getting nice here, but no lawn chairs out yet...so I don't really like to lay in the dirt. Glad you are enjoying the sun!!!
