Look What I Found
or
Do You See What I See?

Can you see it?

Look close.

Yep, there it is!

Yet another baseball rescued from an untimely end by me.
They should make a movie about me!
Arizona Jack and the Baseballs of .....

uh......
Indiana Jack and the Temple of Baseballs.... uh...

Heck, I gotta come up with a good name for the movie!

Note from the tall guy:

It's a bit hard to tell from the pictures, but this baseball was down in a hole covered up with trash. Jack, who was off his leash chasing another baseball (in the baseball field where we aren't supposed to be), went out the gate and was trying to get something. I thought he had found a ground squirrel, but when I went over, I could just barely see the baseball down in the hole. I don't know how he does it - as I don't imagine the baseballs have any special smell, but he sure seems to have a nose for it, as you could probably tell if you see the 10 baseballs rolling around the floor of my car at any given time!

  1. Tallguy, you are really right about how clever jack is! What a smart dog he is. Let me know when you two decide on a name for the very interesting...we will buy tickets to the premier!

  2. Nice find pal! You've got the knack and the nose to snooter 'em out! Don't know if I would have tracked that one...gotta be the smelly orange kind for my snooter :)

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

  3. Wow! We've never actually seen a baseball harvested before. Who knew they grew in the ground, like a potato?

How about Jack's Field of Dreams? Shoeless Jack & the Amazing Baseball Harvest? We smell a series here. If Randolph can be an international dog of mystery, you could certainly be a clean-cut all American dog having great baseball adventures. Jed would be a great agent. Abby, of course, is available to offer all needed legal services.

  4. Morning Jack how in the world do you do that? What an amazing talent. If you get really really bored with being a pampered, well loved puppy, maybe you can apply for a job as ball boy for your local Ball team.

    Happy Tuesday,
    Madi and Mom

  8. Baseballs must have a smell, whatever material they are made out of obviously catches Jack's nose. It's so cute how motivated he is to work for them. Gotta love the drive!
