Today on Sesame Street...
Open
Open
(I know. That's Mr. Rogers and not Sesame Street.)
We finally got to go back to our local park to play.
Don't tell anyone but we went into the place where
the sign says 'No Dogs Allowed'.
Who ever heard of such a thing?
I never saw no signs that said
'No Mean People Allowed'
or
'No People Who Throw Trash On The Ground Allowed'.
I told the tall guy that I would be very quiet,
so there wouldn't be 'No Loud Dogs'.
He said it wasn't quite the same thing,
but we went anyway!

Jack broke the rules...aah so what! Rules are made to be broken!!!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to bend the rules a bit to let them have fun! I think we all do it from time to time... (We won't tell!)
ReplyDeleteSam

ReplyDeleteSam
Heh. There is a baseball diamond in our area that has a sign just like that. But the area is between two places we like to walk where dogs are allowed so we cut through there all the time anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt's only against the rules if you get caught, right?
Nice trick there JAck
ReplyDeleteYah, tell the TG that rules are made to be broken!! BOL

Way to be a rebel Jack! I agree rules are made to be broken...well as long as mom isn't looking!
ReplyDeletePS: Glad to hear the TG brought you something back from his trip...so how was that big bone?
Woof!

Our takeaway from this post: if your eyes are closed, you can't read the "no" signs. Good lesson, Jack. Glad to be your [virtual] neighbor.

Three cheers for rebel doggies! We are always more polite than most humans, so I don't know why they have those signs.
ReplyDeleteLoved the Open/Closed Lesson, Jack!
