Today on Sesame Street...

Open

Closed

Can you say 'Opposites'? I know you can!
(I know. That's Mr. Rogers and not Sesame Street.)

We finally got to go back to our local park to play.
Don't tell anyone but we went into the place where
the sign says 'No Dogs Allowed'.
Who ever heard of such a thing?
I never saw no signs that said
'No Mean People Allowed'
or
'No People Who Throw Trash On The Ground Allowed'.

I told the tall guy that I would be very quiet,
so there wouldn't be 'No Loud Dogs'.
He said it wasn't quite the same thing,
but we went anyway!

  10. Sometimes you have to bend the rules a bit to let them have fun! I think we all do it from time to time... (We won't tell!)

  15. Heh. There is a baseball diamond in our area that has a sign just like that. But the area is between two places we like to walk where dogs are allowed so we cut through there all the time anyway.

It's only against the rules if you get caught, right?

  18. Our takeaway from this post: if your eyes are closed, you can't read the "no" signs. Good lesson, Jack. Glad to be your [virtual] neighbor.

  19. Three cheers for rebel doggies! We are always more polite than most humans, so I don't know why they have those signs.
