My Valentine Card!

Here is the card I got for Valentine's Day yesterday!  You would think that it was from Benny and Lily, but no, it was from the tall guy.  (Actually I think that Benny and Lily are much more handsomer/beautifuler!).  

I won't tell you what was on the inside, because it was all mushy and stuff.

And then I also got this card

from Zack, Sassy and Buddy at Dog Daze.  Isn't that cool?

Oh and here is a note to Zack, Sassy and Buddy.  Next time when you send candy inside the card, please tell the postman to make sure that it is delivered directly to me.  By the time I got to read the card, there was no candy inside of it.  Someone (who shall remain nameless but has a name that sounds like Small Fry) got to it first!  But thank you so very much anyway.  I'm sure it would have been delicious!

No, the tall guy is not drunk.



It has come to my attention that it might be hard to make a video when you are trying to kick the ball and that if I wanted to keep playing ball I had better not complain when the video is a bit wobbly. 

It came to my attention when I asked the tall guy if he was drunk when he made the video.

It has also come to my attention that if you ask someone if they are drunk when they do not drink, you will not get no cookies before you go to bed that night.

It has also also come to my attention that the video is too big to fit correctly on the screen, but that if I wanted anyone to see what was on the video, well, tough cookies.

It has also also also come to my attention that I should not make fun of people yelling on the video when they sound like they are crazy.

So, unless I want another also, I think I'm just gonna let this one go!

This is so cool.  The tall guy got an email from a very nice young lady who said she had read my book and asked if she could do a book report about me!  I have never been a book report before, have you?

I asked the tall guy if he would turn this into a wonderful movie for me and add music and titles and all the neat stuff that he knows how to do.

I guess I'll just have to learn how to do it myself!
 
By the way, I was not fighting with the other dog in the video, but I was a bit annoyed as he kept trying to crawl on top of me while I was trying to play soccers.  So, I had to have a discussion with him.

Did I Catch It?

Yes, we can play ball right after I finish this nap.

Naps are very important for growing boys, and I intend to grow really big!  As a matter of fact, if you could just bring me something to eat, I could eat while I sleep.  Wouldn't that be fun?

No?

How about water?  Would you just open my mouth ever now and again and .... what?  No?

Well, I won't even ask about the bathroom thing then.

Jack's 60 Second Mystery!

I noticed it when we were out walking yesterday.  The tall guy didn't seem to notice it.  Maybe it was because we were like 3 miles away from it.  But I did.  The tall guy was just trying to get home.  Something about needing a drink of water.  But I persisted.  I started to walk one direction, the tall guy wanted to go the other.  Usually, he wins.  But then I gave him my puppy eyes.  He can't resist when I do the puppy eye thing.  So, he said we would go see what I was so determined to find.  We quickly crossed the street and went up the sidewalk.  The closer we got, the faster I walked.  Time seemed to stand still as we rushed toward our goal.  All of a sudden, there it was!

That's right.  A big old meaty chicken bone.

Can you believe that someone threw this out? Just look at it. There's enough meat on there to feed Sassy, Zack, and Buddy AND me.  Why, you could probably feed 200 Miss Mindy's and have enough left over to make Sunday dinner for Remington!

And did I get to eat it?  Eat it?  I didn't even get within 3 feet of it before I was DRAGGED away by my string.  After all the work I put in!!

So, there's my mystery.  Who left this nice chicken bone sitting on the side of the road?  Were they waiting to see if it would get to the other side?

I guess we'll never know!

PS.  It is still there today.  And the tall guy STILL won't let me eat it!

The next voice you hear...

I like playing the soccers, although to tell you the truth, the tall guy isn't very good at it.

But it gets him outside and off the computer, so I do it anyway!

PS.  Please help him remember to turn his phone sideways next time he's making movies so they will look better on here!!  I'm getting tired of being shrunk!

Well he is finally back home!

You may have noticed that the tall guy has not been writing on your blogs for the past couple of days.  That is because he was not even here!  He left one day and went somewhere and not only did he not tell me where he was going, he did not even TAKE ME with him!  

He just got back home today and he said 

he had to fly up in the sky in an aeroplane.

He took this picture to prove to me.

He has no idea where this is.  

But it is somewhere up in the sky.

Evidently they do not allow dogs to fly on the aeroplanes.  Besides, he said I would not like it because of all the people turning into sardines.

Once again, I have no idea what he is talking about.

But he is finally home again,

and that is all that matters.

What I Did On My Christmas Vacation

We went to a place called Flagpole.* 

It was cold and there was snow on the ground.
The tall guy said it was 19 little circles at night.
He knew that because I had to go outside
several times just to make sure it was still cold.
I made sure it was cold 
at 12AM, 2AM and 3AM.
 

I even got to get up on the bed as the people in the hotel knew that I was there and they didn't even mind.

The cold weather must make things grow really big.

We saw a big cow!

 I was not in jail.

The hotel room we were in had something

called a balcony that I could go out

and say hello to all the people outside.

 We even got to go to a dog park.

There were a lot of dogs there

even in the cold.

The dogs didn't seem to mind. 

I even found a Fribsee** that someone

had left at the park.

I left it there when we left so the other

dogs could play with it too.

The tall guy said I was having so much fun,

he tried to make a movie.

It was getting dark, so it might be hard to see.

We were playing, 
but the other dog got bored,

so I decided I would eat the stick.

I liked all the cold and the snow,

and calling and getting room service

at 5AM when the tall guy was asleep,***

so I hope we get to go back soon.

And that is what I did on my Christmas vacation.
