May 27, 2011

It seemed like everyone was going out and having fun, so I asked the tall guy if he would take me back up to the lake.  AND HE DID!  Sometimes he's a pretty good guy.  Although I got a bit excited when we got there and just about broke his neck when we were trying to get to the water!  I'll have to work on that or we won't get to go back :(

I had to stay on my string because there were a lot of people there fishing and the tall guy was afraid that I would try to go up and say hello to them.

We saw ducks!

And then we went to the ski area where all the snow used to be.
Someone must have borrowed it, because it's all gone now.

I don't know why he wanted to take a picture of a flower, but here it is!

We had a pretty cool day.
We left the windows down so I could dry off on the way home.
And now I don't even stink!

On another note, the tall guy still needs about 5 more recipes for the cook book.
Please send them to

  1. Oh man! I know how that must have been for poor old TG when you saw the water. Little otters you labradogs are, for sure.

  2. Jack you are one lucky Lab puppy!! Not only to you have the best TG in the world who takes you to nice places, he is also funny. Mom cracked up at 'somebody borrowing the snow'.
    Hugs and Happy Friday,

  3. Jack,

I do not quite understand your enthusiasm fur swimmin' around in da lake but it makes you happy so I am happy too!
    Happy Weekend my furiend!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

PeeS Thank you fur visiting Cinderella :)

  4. Jack ! The French papers say that Madame Palin has bought a house in Arizona. You'll be neighbours . Forget showbiz, a career in politics beckons.

  5. Woof! Woof! SO jealous that you get to swim. TG did a great job with the flower photo ... LOVE it!.
We are waiting for our friend to return your book so we can take a photo shoot n do the review. If you need more recipe we are happy to provide you additional recipes. Need a sponsor for the cookbook - will be happy to help out. Just let us know ☺ Lots of Golden Thanks n Woofs, Sugar

  6. Raider is thinking: Oh No, is it Jack's bath time again?!
He would never go into a lake on purpose!
(Raider is an embarrassment to his breed, being an "aqua phobic" Golden Retriever. Bath time is such a thrill! NOT!)
But I'm glad you had a great time in the water, especially with it getting plenty hot down there in AZ!
    Belly rubs to you Jack
Hugs to TG for the pics!

  7. WOOO looked like you had an awesome time swimming!

  8. Gosh, it souds like you had a wonderful time near the lake and ski hill. We haven't gone to the lake in awhile but of course we go the the beach at the sea very often. And we love to run at top speed upand down in the awesome sand. Maybe some day you can go to the beach at the sea too!
I got in trouble about the running on the leash thing too. I just get so darned excited when I see the water. I guess my people just don't understand that I know where the sand and water are and I could get there a lot faster if they didn't put that darned leash thing on me!
But I will try to be good so I can go there often to play.
    Hugs and wags, Mistaya...and Maggie

  9. I am SO jealous!!! Glad you had a good time though!

  10. Where do you get one of those air-drying dogs? :)

  11. Jack!
Having here 110 degrees.... I am soooo envy looking at you swimming!
Glad you had lots of fun!
    Kisses and hugs

  12. George doesn't like to swim, but Jack - you're making it look fun.

  13. This is the same flower you saw as a dandelion later on!
