Well, he finally came home!
Come to find out I was NOT supposed to keep my eyes closed the whole time.
I think he needs to make that a little clearer next time.
Anyway, I asked him where he had been and he said he had been SINGING.
And then I said, no really, where were you?
And he said he was singing music with some of his friends.
So I said prove it.
Here you go:
He said that wasn't the whole song. They didn't just stop in the middle like that.
But I still didn't get no cookie when he got home.
Very nice. Hope he doesn't want to sing a tune for a treat now

Absolutely beautiful! You both deserve a cookie!
ReplyDeleteDear Jack,
ReplyDeleteI have two things to say about this:
1) The Tall Guy is so talented - he writes great stories about you, he composes wonderful music, and now we find out that he also sings beautifully with his friends. Not only that, but he makes yummy tater chip sammiches on the Sunbeam bread!
2) I can't believe you didn't get a cookie!!!
Your friend,
Nancy
Jack - Have you ever thought of joining the TG in singing ?
ReplyDeleteWhew...so glad he's back. But, what's that about no cookie? That is not right. Not at all. You deserve at least two, in our opinion.
ReplyDeletePoor Jack, you never get no cookies...maybe you could write a song about the lack of cookies. You've definitely got the No Cookie Blues.
ReplyDeleteit's me jack.
