What have you done now?

It appears that the tall guy has hurt his back
(again).
He went to get something called an Ex-lax
to see if he was really hurt.
The Ex-lax shows all your bones and stuff
inside your body that you can't see because
of all the skin.

Fortunately, he still has all of his bones.
He thinks he has pulled a muscle.
So he's kinda grumpy right now.
We've had to cut down our walks to under
26 miles each day.

But I walk slowly so he won't hurt his back
worse than it already is.
So if you don't hear from him for a few days,
it's ok.
He can still get up and get my food
(although water dish #1 is empty right now!)
Now I'll have to walk all the way across the room
to water dish #2!

I hope he gets better soon.
I'm tired of watching HGTV all day!

  1. We hope he gets better soon too. Only 26 miles, that is just not enough!

  2. If he takes lots of Ex-lax, he will no longer be focusing on his back

  3. So sorry to hear about the tall guy being in pain! Hope your water bowl is refilled soon and maybe a few coookies would help as well. Some Arthur Itis guy that my momma doesn't like visits momma and hurts her back and hands. When her back hurts mom doesn't walk me much but Girl #1 get out the rollerblades and we FLY around the neighbourhood. (Hope momma doesn't read this or the rollerblade fun may be over!!!) Some people slow down in their cars and ask if everything is okay - as if I'd ever hurt my girls! If you lived closer I bet we could take you with us too!!

  4. Dear Jack,

I'm so sorry to hear about the Tall Guy's back....the same thing has happened to me twice in the past 5 months, and the chiropractor told me that the stuff I am doing would be challenging for someone who is 20 years younger and in perfect shape (which I definitely am NOT)!!!

But, it's kind of like when the Tall Guy tells you not to eat the fribsee or chew the sticks when you go for a walk....sometimes us humans just don't listen, either!

In my case, I think I've just eaten way too many Rice Krispies in my lifetime - all I do anymore is snap, crackle, and pop!

Hope the Tall Guy feels better soon!

    Your friend,
    Nancy

  6. Just ask your Dad to lie on his tummy on the floor, then you go ump on his back! I just know it will feel better then! Just wondering.....does he leave the toilet seat up? Just a thought to get water.
