Uh-huh!

So while I am left at home,
all by myself,
guarding against robbers,
and burglars, and all other kinds
of -ers and -ars,
look at what the tall guy is doing.

Guarding is hard work!

ANYWAY..
the tall guy is off looking at houses!

Here's one he saw:

(You can see the inside HERE.)

The tall guy won't let me tell you what he thinks about it.

And then he saw this house,
which is actually a castle.

You can read more about it HERE.

He didn't get to go inside.
He said it is high up on a cliff!

Of course, I wouldn't know,
as I was home guarding OUR castle.

But he got home in time to watch
the finale to
The Amazing Race.
He was glad when the hockey players won.

But I did not get no extra cookie :(

  1. I sure hope TG doesn't buy that big old house. You would never get any rest trying to guard it all.

  5. Hey Jack....HOW dare the TG go house hunting w/o the king of the castle?
Truly bad manners!! OMDs that first house must be made for a feline. Imagine all the cat perches I could have in all of those windows. Hush mom ...she is worried about cleaning all the cat nose art off the windows.
We hope your sitter gave you a ton of extra cookies

  7. Best to let the burglars think you're asleep and then surprise them.

Hope you get a house near a Dunkin Donuts .

  8. Maybe you should put an ad in Craig's List for a new home for yourself - where you get a castle AND extra cookies. ;)

  12. Wow, Jack - think of all the fun you could have in that first house.....and your very own room with a king-size bed - you could do all the snoring you want to without disturbing anyone!!!! Of course, you would also need a special room with a gigantic pantry full of every kind of cookie you could imagine. There should also be open bins of cookies at floor level, and a doggy door so you could get to the cookies whenever you want them.

The second house???? Not so much - that first step out the door could be a real killer!

    Nancy

  14. What is with you not getting extra cookies??? Has the tall guy lost his mind??? You work so hard Jack, you deserve to be rewarded. Are you gonna be living in one of those houses?? That might be a nice reward, lots of room to stretch out.
