Someone stoled our tree! 

and I wish they would please bring it back.
 Whenever there's a tree in the house,
I always get a bunch of new stuff! 
 

I wonder if this is to eat or to play with?
It doesn't matter, I'll just play with it then I'll eat it!

WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!

Look at this great BOX I got from Sadie. 

It is famatastics!

As you can see, it had some other stuff in it too,

but I got to 'play' with the box first.

(To be honest, I got to play with the stuffy too,

once the tall guy gave him a hair/label cut.

I have a tendency to tear off labels and hairs,

so he has to take care of that for me

before I get to play with anything.)

So thank you Sadie (and her family)

for my wonderful gifts.

PS.  I got a lot of stuffs yesterday.

I don't know why, but I even got to go to

the tree and get them.

Maybe it was "Be Really Nice to Jack Day!"

(The tall guy just said EVERY day is BRNTJD.)

He said he'll put up some more pictures later

after I go to sleep and he can clean up all the

papers that somehow got all over the house.

A new Christmas carol... 

I'm Jack, the thermal puppy.

I have a very purple nose.

And if you ever saw it,

You would even say

OMYDOG, where are your eyes??????

(I didn't say it was a GOOD Christmas carol!)

The tall guy borrowed a camera from his friend

that takes temperature pictures

 

Anyway, here is what I look like temperature-wise.

Evidently I have very hot eyes (white)

and a cold nose (blue).

Maybe the next time I go to the doctor,

he will take my temperature using the camera.

Although, he might have a hard time putting the camera

where he usually takes my temperature.

On second thought,

I think we will stick with the old way.

We have runned out of room! 

I have gotten so many Christmas cards, that we don't have any more room to put them on the top of the fireplace!  We even got a bunch more after the tall guy took this picture.  It is so much fun to see all the cards from all of our friends!


On the other hand...

The tall guy had to put up this fence so that none of our Christmas presents could escape.  I told him I would keep an eye on them, but he said it would be better if we put up the fence just to make sure they didn't run off.

I told him that was probably for the best!

It was such a beauticious day...
 

The tall guy decided we would go walking in the beautious mountains.  I really like to go walking in the mountains because there are lots of beautimous smells to smell (a lot of people bring their dogs up here) and there are a lot of wild animal smells too (I think I smelled an elephant!).

Sometimes we start at the bottom of the mountain and sometimes we start at the top.  This used to be a road that cars could drive on until part of the road broke, so now it is just for peoples and dogs and bicycles.  

As you can see, someone has knocked almost all the leaves off the trees, but it is still beautifical to look at and walk around.  

And then we went to Burger King to get a grilled chicken wrap with no cheeses.  The tall guy says he is trying to eat better.  I told him that he could eat all the better he wanted, but I would appreciate it if he left me out of his eating better plans and still fed me all the good stuff he used to eat.  He said he would think about it.  And we all know what THAT means!

We only got to go on one walk today because it was raining.

For some reason, the tall guy doesn't like to walk in the rain.

Me, I don't mind,

because we get to play the towel game when we get home.

I did not know that! 

I have never before seen grapes that grew on a tree.  Up until now, I have only seen the kind of grapes that grow in a plastic bag from the grocery store.  Which I am not allowed to have even one, even if it drops on the floor and no one else wants it.  

We saw these out on our walk this morning.  I think we had not seen them before because of all the leaves on the trees.

This is my tree now!

Well, it appears that I was a bit mistaken about what "paying off the mortgage" means.  Apparently, now everything belongs to me the tall guy.  That means that we the tall guy now owns the house and the grass and the sidewalk and the mailbox and even the weeds.  He said since I had been so good lately, that I could have my own tree.  I picked out this one since it was yellow like me. 

So if you come by, I will take you out back to see my tree.
But you might want to hurry as it is quickly going bald.  I think the squirrels are taking all the yellow leaves because they are so pretty!

Well, I guess it had to happen.
 

By the time you read this, I might be homeless.

The tall guy said he was tired of making house payments, so he's going to go to the bank next week and "pay off the mortgage".  I don't know what that means, but I'm pretty sure we will be out on the streets somewhere looking pitifuller and pitifuller.  He even went out to the fancy restaurant to celebrate.  Why he wants to celebrate us having to live outside, I don't even know.

I bet we won't even have no teevees to watch.  And you know how the tall guy gets when he can't watch The Amazing Race!

Oh well.

It appears that my automotive accommodations have become a tad bit mussed.  We can't have that, now can we?

My first selfie! 

The tall guy felt bad that he went away last week and left me so he said we could go up on the mountain today.  It was a beautiful day and there were lots and lots of interesting smells to smell.  Evidently there was a dog show yesterday, but we didn't go because the tall guy had to go sing.

So, I borrowed the tall guy's new iPhone (which is almost as big as my head) and took my first selfie*.  Pretty cool, huh!

*  I may have had a little help, which is why you see the tall guy's elbow in the picture.  Also, I do not have any fingers.

Well, he did it again!
 

The tall guy went off for like 2 years* and left me all alone** without anything to eat or drink***.  Here you can see that I was so hungry****, I had to drink all the milk***** and eat the jug******.  He finally came back, without a fine how-do-you-do!*******

UPDATE:

I've been told (by the tall guy) that I might have tended to exaggerate just a little bit.  So here is what he wanted me to "fix":

*  One night

**  There was actually someone here with me, but they didn't know how to turn on the tv and I missed my programs, so it didn't count.

***  I might have actually not missed any meals, but I was still hungry.

****  See above.  I was still hungry.

***** I'm not allowed to drink milk.

******  I didn't really eat the jug.  I just like to chew on bottles until someone takes them away from me.

******* I have no idea what it is a 'how-do-you-do'.  But I know I didn't get one when the tall guy came back home!

We are EXHAUSTED!

The tall guy woke me up at 2AMs last night because he wanted to buy a new phone.  I don't know why I had to get woke up, but I went and watched him click on the computer for over 2 hours (and he still didn't get his phone).  So I told him that I was hungry.  He fixed my breakfast (it was almost 4AMs by that time) and when he went back to the computer, lo and behold, he got to order his phone.  I asked him if I could have his old phone so I could call my friends.  So, tell your peoples you want your own phone so we can talk to each other.

While we are waiting, we can play House Hunters.  If you're not familiar with House Hunters, it is a show where people look at 3 different houses and then buy one.  Actually, the peoples have already bought a house, so I don't know why they are looking at other houses.  But the tall guy likes to look at houses, so I sit and watch it with him when it's on the teevees.

Here is house #1:

Even though it costs only $14.00, we have decided that we would NEVER buy this house, because the paint color in the downstairs half-bath is ugly.

House #2:

We would NEVER buy this house because there is not enough room for all the entertaining that we do.  Never mind that we do NOT entertain, but, if we ever decide that we WANT to entertain, we are certain that we would need more than a 17000 square foot house to do all the entertaining.

House #3:

We might buy this house, even though we told our real estate agent that we absolutely, positively could only spend $500.00 and this house is $2.7 millions of dollars.  Because that's just the way we roll.

(Actually all of these houses are next to the park where we like to go walk.  We decided not to buy any of them because they all have teeny-tiny yards.  Some of them don't even have a back yard.  And where would I go to the bathroom at 4AM?  So, I guess we'll just stay where we are!)

My Very Good Birthday Day 

Here is a report on what all happened on my birthday day!

I knew something was special because after breakfast

(at 4am),

the tall guy gave me an entire whole Denta-stik.

I NEVER get a entire whole Denta-stick.

Usually he breaks them into pieces so that one will last me for about 2 years.

I know he's got a bunch of them, because I can see them in the closet where he keeps them.

So, getting a whole one was a real treat!

It lasted about 8 seconds.

I also got some really cool cards

from some of my friends.

 I got a new antler, since I had almost chewed the last one down to a nub.

I also got the biggest bone I had ever seen!
It was as big as my head!

 

See, it is bigger than I am!

 

But my FAVORITE birthday gift was this:
a new orange juice bottle!

I had been wanting one for six years,

so the tall guy got me one.

I like it when he throws it and then I get to go get it

and play keep away.

Anytime I can get the tall guy off of the computer

and outside to play is a

VERY GOOD DAY!
