Well, aren't we fancy?

It seems that SOMEONE got a new car but have I been allowed to ride in it?
No.  We have had to WALK on our walks. 
Can you believe it?

It seems that SOMEONE said he would like to have a car for at least one day that didn't have a dog fuzz covered interior.

I asked him what was wrong with a dog fuzzed covered interior as I happen to think it makes the whole car more comfortable.

So if you see a tall guy riding around your neighborhood without a dog in a car without any dog hair in it, wave.  It might be SOMEONE.

Guess What We Did?

Yep, we went up to the mountains to get away from the hot.

I liked looking out the window.

The tall guy said it's hard to take a picture and drive at the same time!

That's why I'm blurry!

There was even water up there.

It was nice and shady and it wasn't even hot!

We even saw a flower we had never seen before!

It looks like a dandelion, but not like any dandelion we had seen before!

If anyone knows what it is, please let us know!

And don't forget to keep buying the cookbook so we can raise lots of money.

The book is ready and raring to go!!

The tall guy has submitted the book to the Amazons so it should be available in a couple of days.  If a bunch of people buy it when it first becomes available, then it becomes one of Amazon's Hot Sellers and it gets recommended to a lot of people and then more people will buy it!  It's a good vicious cycle!  We will let you know when it shows up on the Amazons.

We ended up with 27 recipes and some of them are even actual

REAL FOODS that you can actually even EAT!!

So tell all of your friends to go buy the book.

This is what happens when the tall guy tries to take my picture while he's sitting at the computer.  Heaven forbid he would get up out of the chair and get a GOOD picture.

Many thanks to everyone who voted.  Now we need to decide how we want to make our donations.  So please leave a comment below and let the tall guy know if you would like to give the donations to one organization or split them between the two top vote getters.  

We will look at all the comments and make the big announcement on Friday.  AND we will have the big book unveiling on Friday as well.  You will get to see the book before it goes on sale on Amazon.  We ended up with 24 recipes (including about 7 or 8 'special' recipes from dogs themselves).  The tall guy says thank you to everyone who sent in a recipe!  (And he says if you meant to send in a recipe, but just kept forgetting, that if you send it in by tomorrow, he will be able to include it in the book.)

TG:  Thank you for all the well wishes after my recent celebration of The Poisoning of the Food holiday.  A good time was had by none, but I'm feeling much better.  Unfortunately, I have no idea what I ate that caused it, but I did lose 10 pounds!

It's time to select which organization we would like to support with the recipe book proceeds.  If Jack has done things right, you should see a place to vote on the right hand side of your screen.  I think Blogger will only let you vote once.  The voting will be open until Tuesday, June 21.

I've asked Madi's mom to help me with all the money stuff.  Amazon doesn't start paying until 60 days have passed (in order to take care of returns).  As of now, there will only be a Kindle book (as that is the only one that Amazon allows you to sell by yourself), but I may put the other versions on another site so that more people can help.

I would like to thank everyone for helping with this project.  It's sad to see how many organizations there are that really need money., but hopefully we will be able to help a little.

And Jack is right.  He DOES look stoned in that picture!  But then again, the way he normally acts, it might be hard to tell if he was! :)

Well, it's been an interesting weekend around here.  The tall guy ate some POISON FOOD!  And then he had to go to the bathroom A LOT!  I did not even know there was such a thing.  As poison food that is.  I know what a bathroom is.  To a dog, the whole world's a bathroom!  BOL!!

Anyway, he wanted me to remind you that today was the final day for nominations for the organization who will get the proceeds from our doggy cookbook.

Well, he's finally back!

I pretended like I was not excited to see him, 

but I really was!

He took a lot of pictures,
