Why did the cowboy get a pet dachshund?

Cause he wanted to
get a long little doggy!

And with that in mind, welcome to the
BLOGVILLE RODEO
TRICK RIDING EVENT!

We have a LOT of riders for your enjoyment today!

We'll start with Oreo and Addy.
Such style, such grace.
And Addy can even balance a ball while she rides.
WOO-HOO!!

 Next, we have Ziggy
doing the always dangerous
"Hanging off the horse's nose" trick!

 REMARKABLE!!

And now, all the way from across the ocean
is Blogville's own
Princess Leah.

Very stylish in her matching cowboy boots and hat!

Next up,
we have Sarge
who shows us that the downward dog pose
is not only for dogs any more!

Way to go Sarge!!

Now we have a special treat.
Not only is Sweet William the Scot
trick riding, but also trick roping as well.

4 paws up for you, William!

Here comes Murphy and Stanley!
Stanley's brought along his friend Taffy!

Now that's some fine riding' we got there.
Way to go guys!

Next up, we got Easy Rider
who is certainly living up to the name.
Such grace,
such poise,
such balance,
such a strange horse!!

That's some fine showmanship there ER!

Now we've got a special treat.
Here's Frankie and Ernie showing us
that you don't need to be in a ring to do trick riding.

Them sure are some rootin'-tootin' ridin' skills
you got going on there!

We can't forget our feline friends.
Here's our own Diva Madi showing us
how the other half does it!

Oops, it looks like she may have lost her hat.
That's ok.  I think she brought along her spare tiara
just in case!

Now we go to the group ridin' doggies.
First up, is Lassie and Benji.

Doing the ever popular "Grab the cookies" trick.
Good job!!

And now for a special treat,
we've got the entire Dory's Backyard gang performing for us.

Let's hear it for Bilbo, Dory, Arty AND Jakey.
Showing us HOW IT'S DONE!

AND NOW,
for a VERY SPECIAL TREAT,
just for all the Blogville friends,
we've got
CHESTER from Winnipeg
doing his very special riding trick:

There you go.
It's the amazing
"Curled up in a ball on the floor of the car"
riding trick!
AMAZING!!!!
How does he do it?
Kids, don't try that at home!

How about a really big hand for all of our riders!

(Well, I'm not so sure about THAT!)

Thanks to everyone who took part in the trick riding.

Make sure you check out all the other events for the
