Did I Fall Asleep?
Evidently I took a LOT of naps while we were waiting
for the the tall guy to recover from having a rock
in his kidney.
The good news is that he is feeling perfect now.
The bad news is that the vet told him that
they did not get all of the rock so he will
have to go through the same thing again
in a few months.
Oh well.
The weather has been really nice.
The tall guy even got out and mowed
all of our new grass,
which was actually more like grass dust
as it hasn't turned green yet.
I stayed inside and watched him
until he got finished. Then we got to play
frisbees for 6 hours because, for some reason,
it was still light until I had to go to bed.
So, that's what we've been up to here.
See you again soon!
Thank heavens for Doctor Jack. Long wet licks after drinking are the best cure
ReplyDeleteSo they are allowed to eat rocks and were not!

Dear Jack,
ReplyDeleteIt's great news to hear that the tall guy is feeling better now, and that you are very "well-rested" so you can play hard and enjoy the nice weather with him!
Not such great news that the tall guy will have to undergo the procedure again in a few months - I will say some special prayers for him that the next time they can get the rest of the rock and his recovery will be smooth and speedy.
In the meantime, keep on enjoying the beautiful weather and practicing with your frisbees.....it would be fun to see a video of you making some high-flying catches!
Your friend,
Nancy
Good news on the TG front. Hopefully those rocks won't move around too much and make him ouchie again.
