Did you hear it?
I'm sitting at home, watching the world
go by outside my window,
when all of a sudden, I heard the tall guy scream!
Which was kind of odd,
because he was at the store.
Did he scream because of the
piece of the rainbow outside our house?
No!
Can you guess what he was so excited about?
Give up?
Sunbeam bread.
He was screaming because
he found Sunbeam bread at
our local grocery store.
There were 3 loaves.
Now there are zero loaves.
He bought all 3 of them.
I don't know what he's going to do
with 3 loaves of bread.
Would anyone like some toast?
I'm beginning to think that boy
has a compelsion!
Jack, I think at the very least he should make you a nice cheese sandwich. I am happy for him that he found his bread, it must be really good stuff.

Oh, my GOSH, Jack!!!! This is great news, and what a nice surprise for the tall guy!! Now he can make you your very own hamburger and potato chip sandwiches without worrying about running out of his Sunbeam bread!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Sunbeam Bread Company heard a story about a very nice man in Arizona who would be deliriously happy if he could buy it there, and they decided to make his wish come true :-)
PS - After the tall guy buys all that bread, make sure he has enough money left for your cookies!!
Your friend,
Nancy

ReplyDeleteWell Jack that seems a good enough reason to shout out loud. Forget those croissants for breakfast it's going to be toasted Sunbeam.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Sunbeam bread was such a rare commodity! I do sort of remember the jingle from their commercials, though. Looks like the store will be carrying it on a regular basis since it says "new item" on the shelf, so maybe one loaf would have been enough???
ReplyDeleteBOL, Tell him to make tiny white dough balls from the center of Sunbeam, throw them in the air, and you or probably him will catch them in his mouth.

Yep, clear case of a compelsion complex! My human has those too. So glad the tall guy found his beloved Sunbeam bread. Since he bought all 3, surely they'll restock it.

ReplyDeleteI knew I heard something! Now I know - it was the triumphant scream of the TG as he whisked those 3 loaves of Sunbeam bread into his cart - leaving zero loaves for anyone else. Woot woot!!
ReplyDeleteI would very much like to try this "Sunbeam" bread if it is coming to local stores. Somethin tells me I'm going to have to get up at the crack of dawn and get to the store before TG gets there! I'm very happy for you.
ReplyDeleteWe just gotta try this Sunbeam bread!
