I'm Serious!

First, I want you to go watch this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEnKecdefIo

Go ahead. I'll wait....

(wait, wait, wait)

Back?

Good.

Is that dog crazy?

Helping with the housework??

If the tall guy ever sees that video,
I'll never get any rest around here.

He already makes me vacuum the floors
and wash the windows.

Well, he makes me move when he's vacuuming
and sometimes I put my wet nose on the windows,
but still. It's exhausting!

So, I think we should all make a pact!
Next time your peoples asks you to take out the garbage
or make the bed, just say these six magic words:

I'm too cute to do housework!

(Here's a picture to put on your blog
if you need to remind them!)

  13. MOL Jack that is pretty funny!!!
Mom often threatens to use me as a dust mop...especially when I come out from under a piece of furniture with dust bunnies all over my gorgeous body!!!

My talents lie only in snoopervising...and delegating.

  15. Obviously his PUs put more into his education than mine did. But that's OK, I am content to be a Brown collar worker.

Happy weekend Jack! Don't let TG work you too hard unless it's helping to wash the dishes. heh, heh, heh.........

    Woofs and elementary slobbers,

  20. We observed with alarm that mama was watching those videos and SMILING. That JRT must be violating some Doggie Union rule. We pitch in around the house in the usual doggie way: licking food off plates or the floor, ripping up papers at well regulated intervals, tracking in mud until mama is forced to clean the floor, shedding on the sofas, counter surfing to encourage good clearing away habits in mama. All the stuff that teaches mama how to behave properly and forms her character. Do all that stuff for her like the JRT was doing, and mama's character would be ruined. She wouldn't need to be careful or plan ahead or clean up or anything. Shameful! Someone who lives in or near California should have a serious talk with that JRT dude.

  21. WEll, I definitley agree, you are WAY TOO CUTE to do housework, however, it must be done and I'm certain your things are part of the problem...so a little help?

  22. Woof! Woof! For sure my mom wish I can do that ... but I'm just a DOG, A Golden DOG. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  23. Oh, my gosh! That little Jack Russell is adorable.

  24. I think I have it figured out. JRs do the housework, while retrievers supervise. Yes, I'm sure that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well, the boys, being retrievers themselves - would still try to help...
